First of all, let me say that I would give this place 10 stars if that were possible. We have stayed many places that have been wonderful and unique, but if we only ever stayed one place this would be it.As you might imagine in a place with little hobbit hole like rooms much of the decor somehow relates to Lord of the Rings. The layout is very clever and functional. The shower was large for a unit that size and quite cozy. The kid bunkbeds had very large mattresses and even had lights. I’m pretty sure they were queen mattresses.When night falls the whole place lights up with all of these magical twinkly lights that are solar powered. There is a very cool and unique communal fire pit., Spa is basically a gigantic, hot tub and the four of us fit very very comfortably. There could’ve been an entire other family in there without a problem. We had farm fresh eggs, and the kids loved feeding the chickens. The playground was so new it looked like it had just been installed last week.While the layout, the decorations, the unique design, etc., was really amazing, another thing that sets this place apart from others where the hosts. We happen to go on Valentine’s Day weekend, and there were chocolates on every bed, little Debbie valentine donuts, Valentine’s Day, tic-tac-toe game, and several other very thoughtful items. If anyone has ever treated you like a king or a queen and made you feel special the experience here will remind you. My wife was so touched she almost cried.
