Family Reunion 2024

Our stay at here was tremendous. The house was large enough to accommodate our family of 12 and daytime guests of 10 without being feeling smothered. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities in the rooms and attached bathrooms was more than adequate. The furnishings were beautiful and new. The pool was a huge attraction and got plenty of use. The location was quiet and easy access. We were able keep the house at a comfortable temperature for everyone. We will keep this place in mind our future reunions.

The King's Palace Resort was perfect for us! Our 8-person team used it for a 3-day planning retreat. The Palace allowed us to sleep, eat, and work all in one place. Large family wedding stay.

This was a wonderful location for our extended family to stay while attending a wedding nearby. The pool is beautiful. There were plenty of large bathrooms which is great for our family. We made our reservation a year ago, so the bedroom configuration had changed somewhat when we got there but for our group it worked out just fine. The kitchen was well furnished and there were plenty of places for everyone to sit together and eat. The host was very helpful in explaining the various HVAC systems and required only minimal work at check out (take out the garbage, run the dishwasher and reset the AC units.). They also have a couple of cabins onsite and a venue suitable for a small event that can be rented seperately.

Make sure your receive the updated house rules and read them thoroughly before you book.

The house is amazing and clean. The host, Cathy is very nice, respectful and a pleasure to speak to. Advise: Make sure you confirm that you receive the accurate house rules when you book. The property. We had an issue of broken information during our booking that caused unnecessary stress,issues, and cost. After investigating the issues I believe that they are mostly because of problems on the VRBO side of things.

Nice Thanksgiving Reunion

We had a nice 5 day reunion of family. House is perfect for an average size family with 6 individual rooms available. We ended up having 7 family units and realized that the additional bedrooms were either shared or behind the kitchen with a curtain as a divider. As a result, one family decided to drive back into town each day and I shared a room with my mother-in-law. However, the home was roomy and clean and with smaller #'s, it would have been perfect. We were able to use the barn for Thanksgiving celebration which worked perfectly as it rained and gave us extra space for games, etc. Location to College Station (1 hour) was an added benefit. Cathy was very welcoming.

Awesome Backyard!

We found the house better in person than in the pictures. The backyard is awesome for family gatherings. Huge pool accommodated all of our party. We had a great time. Manager was quick to answer when we needed. Overall it’s a great place to getaway and gather with family. Remodeling Would give this place a 1000!
