Very comfortable colonial setting. Change in Innkeepers transition created a few minor problems, I.e. no toiletries in room, daily turndown not accomplished. These were easily overcome by the graciousness and competence of the new innkeeper.
Staying at the Liberty Rose made our trip to Williamsburg even more memorable. The room and common areas are beautifully appointed and maintained, and the breakfast prepared by owner and chef, Mike, was truly delicious.
What a charming place to stay. I arrived midweek and was given a free upgrade to a suite. Lovely gardens, interior decor with Southern hospitality. Delicious breakfast. I will definitely come back again next time I'm planning a trip to Williamsburg.
It was amazing! The place itself is a retreat, I'd go just to stay and have a peaceful weekend at. The best B&B I have stayed in yet. Neighborhood is safe, quiet. House is beautiful. Room is comfortable and clean. Very nice! And I can guarantee that no other hotel or B&B will serve you breakfast like they do at the Liberty Rose. The in-house chef, Mike is very friendly and accommodating and his food is the most delicious. Not the usual run of the mill breakfast here. 5 Star for breakfast and and the house itself. I will definitely recommend this B&B to anyone and I will certainly go back there myself.
Definitely recommend staying here at least once! Most beautiful B&B ever! Very convenient to everything. Mike, the host, is wonderful! He will cook you a breakfast that is out of this world!! and he makes you feel at home instantly!
Lovely house in great proximity to both Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown Settlement.
Andrea was a wonderful hostess and excellent breakfast cook.
Only complaint (and very minor) was the pillows - too mushy.
