"Room and entire property was exceptionally clean. Great vibe in both bars. Checkin was flawless. The only think I have to say negative was the hotel entry doors seemed to be inoperative so they were fairly difficult to open and I’m a pretty big dude. Other than that wonderful stay. I will be back. "

"The staff was wonderful, the place was very clean and the parking was plentiful. The downside is that the walls are very thin. We could hear everyone moving around our surrounding room. It wasn't helpful considering the the people above us was their most active when we were trying to go to sleep. Also, I think people are living there. There were a couple of times we went down to the lobby and there were bags of stuff laying around every where while a person was checking out. Another person was sun tanning out in the front of the hotel like he lived there, So while the hotel itself was good, it definitely isn't recommended for couples to stay at if you are trying to get away. Luckily we were using it for business only, which made it not a true disappointment."

"Hotel was impeccably clean and attractive, very well kept up with comfortable bed and great shower / tub combo. The Japanese baths were a unique amenity. In my opinion the hotel restaurants were overpriced and although I appreciate the minimalistic approach to the rooms, there wasn’t hardly any space for our luggage and belongings. Overall a great stay. "

"I would highly recommend this hotel. We chose it at first because of the free parking - a rarity in a big city. The location was very good - a short direct drive to downtown and Washington Park is very close.I was a little leery as we got off the elevator to an outside corridor with cement block walls, but I quickly learned that the room was very good. It was a very large suite with a complete kitchen. There was a good-sized living room as you entered, with many windows to provide light and a beautiful view of Portland. In fact, although we didn't see it the first day, you could even see Mount Hood. As a final benefit, they provided complimentary tickets to the Japanese Garden, which may not always happen."
