The house is very clean and modern. The house came with all the items and supplies need for a gray stay. Location is great. Away from busy city but close enough for a quick drive if need something. Only sight issue would be if you are a light sleeper you can hear the very active train tracks near by.
Beautiful home and well located.
Very dog friendly and clean. Only things I wish was different was a TV in the bedrooms.
We watch TV to go to bed so we had to accommodate, and also window blinds in the living room area.
Other then that it was great.
Property was clean and the check in process was smooth. We got to the property and the house is located in top of the hill which is wonderful. However, the gravel driveway was NOT graded and even though we were driving an SUV, it was absolutely difficult to go up the driveway. I have reach out to the property manager/contact (Michael) and sent him pictures of the driveway as my SUV was almost stuck. I was informed that someone will come out to grade the driveway, but no one did. If I was driving a sedan then I would NOT have been able to get to the top of the hill to get to the house.
I understand that gravel driveway can be difficult to manage, but prior to renting a house I think the owner/property manager should have drove up the driveway prior to ensure that new guests will be able to use the driveway. I know for sure that if you are driving a sedan you won’t be able to get to the house, as the driveway is almost impassable.
Unfortunately, I would not recommend this property & will not stay there again.
We loved our stay! The cabin was extremely clean and the property was beautiful. We loved being so close to all the fun things in the area too. Would definitely stay here again!
The Honeysuckle was absolutely wonderful!! Very clean, and the owners had everything you could need. The location was also wonderful. It was beautiful and secluded, but also a short drive to Chattanooga. Highly recommend, and we will definitely return in the future!
Up to date and has everything you need for a weekend getaway. Comfortable beds, very nice size bathrooms, nice yard and deck area. Dog friendly, very convenient to Chattanooga and cloudland canyon. Easy off interstate but quiet at rental! Would return and rent this one again.
chattanooga get away!!!! Wonderful location, beautiful cabin!!!
Cabin is great!!!! very well stocked, even shampoo, conditioner & body wash! I didnt want to leave! very private & pet friendly!!! Close to ruby falls , look out mt & rock city.
Very spacious well appointed home. We had a problem with the water due to extreme temps, but we were relocated to another nearby property.

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
AMAZING LOCATION: LITERALLY NESTLED IN THE WOODS TOTAL/ COMPLETE PRIVACY.
SURPRISINGLY, LOCAL WALMART, EATERIES , ETC. LESS THAN 15 MINUTES AWAWY.
THE CABIN IS COZY WITH A BEAUTIFUL LOFT AREA, FIRE PIT OUT BACK, AND A FULLY STOCKED KITCHEN.
I CANT FORGET TO MENTION ANNE MY CONTACT FOR THE THREE WEEK VISIT. SHE WAS EXTREMELY KIND, PATIENT, AND AVAILABLE TO MEET MY CONCERNS. EVEN WHEN SHE WAS AT LUNCH, HER CO WORKER JADE EXHIBITED THE SAME PROFESSIONALISM!
I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ‘THIS PROPERTY TO ANY AND ALL!!!
The home was very clean and fit our family of 4 well. It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay and the hiking right out back was a real plus. The deck for morning coffee was just perfect surrounded by natures sights and sounds. If you’re looking for a quick bite to take back to the house, we picked up Pizza Bros. and it was delicious. Even the check out rules were clear cut and and simple here and we’ve stayed in many rentals. Thank you for having us!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, well-appointed new house in a quiet neighborhood within 15 minutes of downtown Chattanooga. Everything was top-notch. The house was spotless, spacious and quiet (except for the sound of trains but we didn’t notice them after the first few hours). There was a good-sized yard for our dog. The house is located in a very private area surrounded by woods. It’s not easy to find in the dark but the management company provided excellent directions. Communication with the management company was very prompt & pleasant. They made an excellent recommendation for our Thanksgiving dinner - Bridgeman’s Chophouse in the historic Read House hotel in downtown. It’s worth a walk through the hotel even if you don’t eat there.
We highly recommend this property and would stay there again!
Everything about this property is perfect from location to amenities. It has absolutely everything you could possibly need to to have a relaxing stay in the foothills. Bed is super comfy, kitchen has everything you need, bathrooms are gorgeous and clean and the loft area is a nice bonus to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the view. We truly loved everything about our stay.
A beautiful property. Highly comfortable and enjoyable with peace and quiet. Only 10-15 minutes away from all that Chatanooga has to offer.
Thank you for making it an enjoyable experience.
Clean house and quiet location; needs drapes or blinds on windows
We stayed at the Honeysuckle in July and even the house is lovely. Looks quite new and is roomy. We checked in a little early and met the property manager who was there checking on the cleaning which was nice. We appreciated that we were able to check in 30 mins early. We were also super grateful to find a dog-friendly house. We enjoyed the trail that has a cave; it was really a good mini workout for the dogs and humans!
One thing I didn't catch before booking was that there is only ONE queen bed, the other room has 2 twins (which wasn't great for two couples) and the bedrooms don't have blinds or curtains so you'll wake up with the sun. I prefer to sleep in on the weekends but that was difficult with no blinds and the fact that the walls are incredibly thin. You can hear everything between the bedrooms which is not great if one of your friends snores or goes to bed late/wakes up early.
However, we were extremely grateful for the loft space because that's where he was forced to sleep the next night.
There is a fancy wine opener with wine charms and one wine glass; we couldn't find any others. The towel bar came out of the wall in the 2nd bedroom (it was already 1/2 out of the wall) and the towel situation was odd. One nice towel then one thin, cheap towel per room with several washclothes that were clearly used for cleaning. This house is really nice but for the price we will try something closer to town. I'm sure this is perfect for a lot of people, it just missed the mark in our case.
The house was great…pictures don’t tell the whole story. It’s a new house…very clean/pristine. It was so well-appointed…all the essentials PLUS really nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash in each shower, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels, nice thick bath towels. It’s remote and private, yet convenient to everything in Chattanooga…lookout mountain, restaurants, gas, grocery. Nice view of lookout mountain. Great deck on side and back. Nice fire-pit area. There was a thunderstorm while we were there and we were so cozy piled up on the couch watching the storm through the floor-to-ceiling (tall vaulted ceiling) windows. The bed was super comfortable.
THE ONLY “negatives” - and they’re not really negatives for me…couldn’t get any tv channels. But, I’m tech challenged, can never remember my passwords for streaming apps, and wasn’t trying very hard (wouldn’t have even tried except looking for local weather during the storm), and maybe that wasn’t listed as an amenity in the property description.
The driveway - truly a gravel drive -a seemingly new gravel drive - but some potholes that made me very glad i drive an suv. Any car could handle it, but drive cautiously if you have a car with low clearance.
We would definitely stay there again - HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
The property location was exactly what we were looking for - the house is private and feels like you’re alone in the mountains, but it was only a 10-20 minute drive to get anywhere in Chattanooga.
The only bad part was the dog hair! If you sat on the couches or rug, you’d be covered in hair! Other than the living room, the rest of the house was very clean (including the linens).
Overall a wonderful experience. A few issues of a couple windows being unlocked when we arrived. The double doors are missing a lock at bottom so they are not as secure as they should be. There was not any hot pads or pot holders to get things from oven. Aside from that we enjoyed our stay immensely.
The house was absolutely perfect. Super peaceful. Very clean and enjoyable.
I will say, the entrance trail was a bit surprising, pretty steep. But the experience was truly a nice one. Mountain side morning's were beautiful. Owner communication and instructions were on point. Will definitely be coming back.
