"Big, capable property, though could use some TLC. Examples:- Fitted sheets are stretched out and don't hold all night- Patio area has weeds, pool maint equip left out, umbrella table broken, one tank of propane for two uses.- Basketball hoop and net but ball flat (we bought and left a new ball and pump)- Listing has said for years "we are fixing the spa (hot tub)." Would be a really nice add if it was fixed.- We weren't able to stream movies without long pauses for loading- WiFi and cellular not available on patio out back where we spent a lot of time- Some interior finishes, sticky doors, etc. Things to watch out for:- The code to the gate we got had a "#" as the first character and then some numbers. That character was not necessary and we had some difficulty - Pool Heater - they said they emailed us in advance that it would be 500 a week and they needed 72 hours notice to turn on the pool heater. I missed that and regretted. Once we found out we would have only had a couple days of warmer water and they wanted the full 500. Even in July we would have enjoyed heating. Our girls aged 10 & 11 used the pool a lot anyway.- Hot water - they warn against lots of simultaneous showers. House sleeps 16, we had 8 and had no problem- Very nice and large open lawn area - was being watered for 12 hrs on two separate days so could not use- There are several things on property that you are not allowed to access, though they are attractive, especially to young ones."

"I was grateful this property was available. It's not far off of the main road, easily accessible to areas of Hillsboro and Beaverton, but feels secluded, not far from berry farms. The host was very accommodating. We don't drink coffee, but do make a lot of smoothies. Since there wasn't one in the place, the host had it sent overnight for us to use. The living area is quite spacious and the beds were comfortable. I would stay here again."

Floating Home on Columbia River w/ Provided Kayaks

"Tranquility on a river with wildlife sightings, kayaks and paddle boards included made for a tremendous vacation. Bev and Lloyd, the hosts, couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating. Communications were above and beyond with activity and food recommendations that for us perfectly. The house is well appointed and we lacked for nothing. Comfortable beds, a cozy living room where we played lots of cards, a kitchen that is perfectly equipped, cool AC for the unexpected heat wave, and the best hot water in the very clean bathrooms. We sat on the back porch with coffee in the morning enjoying the river and peace. Close enough to the city for amenities, but far enough that we found peace and quiet."

"the house was located in a nice newer neighbor. stores and shopping 10 to 20 minutes away.the house was clean but the kitchen needed new cook ware and utensils, vacuum cleaner needed a new filter, bedrooms needed small trash cans in them and working blinds in all bedrooms."

"This was a charming, secluded rental hidden in the lush forest of Folkenberg. So many trees and flowers around the property made for a beautiful and tranquil atmosphere. You could barely tell the road was a nearby. Hot tub was easily accessible and the outdoor shower is plumbed for hot water, which was a welcome surprise! We stayed early in June so much of the fruit plants weren't in fruit, but it was so pretty. The goats were super friendly, also. The approach to the property is a bit steep and not paved. The Nissan Sentra we rented managed, but we did wish we had a vehicle with a higher clearance. Clean, comfortable beds and plenty of lighting. Lots of ambient light in the main living area and rooms, but the rooms had blackout curtains and got VERY dark. Perfect for sleeping in. Only downside is there is no guest laundry, so be prepared for that. Though we didn't need them there was TONS of pet amenities available and some toys and games for kids. The grill and fire table work, though we only used the latter once.It was a fantastic rental for the short visit we had."

"Carol the guest host was generally prompt to respond to my requests. There were no extra bed linens, please add a set. Beds were very comfortable A plus! And yet needed sheets for the air bed. Took awhile to find the iron to use the ironing board. Also ants are in the kitchen on counter. The oven does not have racks that fit properly. And only 1 plastic skillet spatula; large cooking spoons would have been nice, are needed. No wine glasses except for a couple of plastic disposable ones. Plenty of glasses and plates and bowls and flatware which is good!. Dishwasher works well but bottom rack is missing rollers so it’s a challenge to pull it in and out. The shared living spaces were wonderful for our family, comfortable and attractive with nice seating arrangements and dinner tables. The bar stools and bar were a favorite for breakfasts. Kids enjoyed the hot-tub!"
