Absolutely Fantastic - best hosts ever

Our stay at the Shan C was amazing ! The accommodation is wonderful - clean, spacious, comfortable and right on the beach. Ken and Belinda are the most fantastic hosts and welcomed us with lots of lovely wee surprises - Belinda makes an amazing Milk Tart which was left as a surprise in our fridge and Ken offers loads of great advice on places to visit. A wonderful couple. Hopefully we'll be back

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying here for a few nights. Ken and Belinda were incredible hosts. They truly embody the hospitality spirit and treated us like family members. The property was clean, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We were also fortunate to see dolphins from our room (which gives you a sense of how close we were to the beach). Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Simply perfect. Everything about Shan C is high spec, high class. Wonderful room and view, great pool and loungers, chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Of course Ken and Belinda are amazing hosts and we will definitely be returning!

The stay was wonderful,could not be faulted Ken and Belinda are superb hosts and make sure you feel welcome.Belinda’s attention to detail is astonishing from fixtures and fittings to the pool area/garden.The view from the property is one of the most relaxing I’ve ever had. You must stay here.

Perfection achieved.

What have I done? I have found paradise and now everywhere I stay will unfavourably be compared to this absolute perfection. This isn’t me being overly effusive, I’m a Virgo, I’m critical by nature, but there is simply nothing to fault here. NOTHING! Back in the UK I do a hotel inspector job on the side of my main job. I get to stay in various places in the UK and sometimes abroad consisting of accommodation at mainly 4-5* level. This place blows them all out of the water. I put my professional hat on and tried to find something I didn’t like or that could be improved and drew a blank. It’s perfect. Everything. Is. Perfect. Even when being picky. Couldn’t find a single thing wrong. Aside from the accommodation itself the location is unbeatable. The beach unsurpassable. I’ve been to 50 counties and the location here is incredible. Moving on to Ken and Belinda. Natural born hosts. They are superb. Their warmth, natural ease and friendliness, attention to detail (unrivalled), welcoming hospitality and humour radiates. Let’s not forget Duke the dog. I’d take that handsome boy home but he’s not want to leave and who can blame him because I didn’t. I need to come back for a few nights as booking one was a HUGE mistake on my part and I’ll be kicking myself forever. Stay here. Do not even look at anywhere else because you won’t get better. They could double their prices and I’d not hesitate to return. That says a lot.

We had the most perfect stay at Shan C! The property is so beautiful from the perfectly curated rooms to the well manicured gardens and outdoor pool area. The hosts are delightful and have thought of every detail to make staying at the property an enjoyable experience. Gorgeous place! The setting is amazing. The rooms are clean and modern with everything you could possibly need, so many thoughtful little touches! Ken and belinda were such lovely hosts and really made us feel at home with use of thier gorgeous braai area! The whole experiance was just perfect - we will definitely be back! Having stayed in wilderness a few times now we wont be staying anywhere else again!

I cannot recommend this venue highly enough! The room had the most spectacular view and was beautifully designed by the owners. I loved the extra touches the hosts provided such as the chocolates and fresh juice. The room is literally on the beach which is...a dream! I also enjoyed the pool which was clean and luxe. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. It took all my self-restraint not to kidnap their loveable dog...make sure to schedule play time :)

Wir haben noch nie auf all unseren vielen Reisen so tolle Gastgeber erlebt, die mit so viel Hingabe und Liebe Ihr super geschmackvolles Haus führen. Wir können Shan C einfach nur allen ans Herz legen, die einen einzigartigen Aufenthalt in einer Traumlage wünschen. Hier wurde einfach an alles gedacht.
