We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The manager Chandana Lakmal and the rest of the staff were attentive to our every need, setting us up with transport to and from Colombo as well as tickets for the ongoing Test match. Everyone was incredibly kind without ever coming off as obsequious. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the property was simply gorgeous - an oasis of utter calm amidst the Galle hubbub. It is well located in that one can walk to the historic Fort area in 20 minutes. Definitely our first port of call at any future trips!

Everything was perfect, genuinely nothing to fault with this resort. Staff were so nice and friendly, the facilities were 10/10 and the food was amazing at their restaurant. The pool setup was very relaxing, overlooking a nice mangrove river with lots of wildlife. The rooms were also massive, clean and modern and I had a great 3 night stay here, I wouldn’t hesitate to book a stay here again when visiting Sri Lanka.

We had an exceptional stay at Turtle Bay. From start to finish, the service was a consistent **5-star experience**; every staff member went above and beyond, and we were honestly gutted to only be staying for one night. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a very warm welcome, including cold cloths and a refreshing drink—exactly what we needed after a long journey. Our room (Green Turtle) was lovely: spacious, featuring twin beds, dressing gowns, and a large bathroom stocked with toiletries. We also had a generous balcony overlooking the pool and beach, which provided the perfect vantage point for sunset views. This was one of the only rooms we stayed in in Sri Lanka that had a full length mirror, an added bonus. The only thing we found was the sheet on the bed wasn't quite enough for us, and we should have asked for a blanket but didn't at the time, otherwise we slept very well and the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant offered a fantastic range of dinner options, from fresh seafood and local delicacies to international dishes—all at very reasonable prices. **Note:** While everything is priced in USD, payment is made in LKR. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a great selection including fresh fruit platters, made-to-order omelettes, and toast. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The hotel is situated right on the beach and features a beautiful pool area with plenty of loungers and a scenic seating area. For convenience, pool t
