"The staff was friendly and my room was clean. I loved the breakfast options and although they weren’t fancy, it was good and convenient. I took one star off because on the last night I found one cockroach in my bathroom. I took care of him and didn’t see any more. He probably came out of the drain in the shower as I accidentally reserved a stay in a first floor accessible suite. Overall it was a decent experience."

"We had a great room, fantastic location, quiet, private, beautiful lake view. The building floor plan is hard to navigate, especially if you have a long way to go with luggage. Better signage would help. Also I had no idea you are aligned with Choice, as a Gold member, it was disappointing not to take advantage of the discounted rates. I spoke to someone at the front desk, they were able to give me the rewards I am entitled to as a member. I feel the Choice alliance could be promoted more."

"Emily was awesome to work with. She was very attentive and quick to respond. We could tell she wanted our experience to be a positive one. And it was for the most part.The cabin was about as well stocked as one could want. The kitchen had enough utensils, pots and pans, bowls, etc.. They also had adequate items for baby’s and toddlers. All in all the cabin was fine.The issue that we had is the listing said the unit had air conditioning, and technically it did as the main space had a wall mounted unit. The rest of the home was not air conditioned, which made for some pretty warm nights in the bedrooms and lower level. So much so we considered going into town to purchase some fans. The air conditioned in the listing was a bit misleading.The second issue, although not a huge one, but needs to be mentioned, are the stairs to the waterfront. The stairs are very steep and could be difficult to navigate for families with infants, toddlers and grandparents. They are about 2-3 stories and are at an angle similar to a ladder leaning on a house. Don’t get me wrong we loved the beach and the frontage, but multiple treks up and down the stairs could be challenging for some folks.All in all our stay was very pleasant and we enjoyed the cabin very much. The air conditioning thing was really the only issue we had with this property."

"Older motel. Has the amenities that we needed to stay for 3 nights while going to a camp nearby. Bfst very basic, bagels, waffles, yogurt, biscuits and gravy, juice coffee tea and bananas. Eating area very compact."
