July 4th stay

Amazing nice cool place. I love the unfinished vintage style .the history! Close to amazing food and coffee shops. Excellent place will definitely stay here again when o return to Wichita staff super responsive!! Just all around a cool fresh way to chill on a long hot family filled weekend. Different with a nice finish is how I describe the 100 percent positive stay!

Awesome property right in the heart of Old Town area! We walked everywhere, and it was great. Dave was awesome, and pics don't do the property justice nor give a sense as to how BIG it is. His warning is appropriate about the bar below being a bit noisy :) wasn't an issue at all for our family. We had a great stay at Biggins’ Loft. (5 minute walk to arena)

Unique and fun

Booked for my daughters 17th bday, stayed with 4 daughters. It was St pattys day weekend so was very loud from the bar below as expected. Parking was difficult however the host responded with advice right away and ended up being not a big deal at all! The loft was beautifully decorated. The b day girl loved the hanging bed ! Would stay here again !!!

Great stay.

Place was very unique, clean, and had everything we needed. Great communication with the owner. Easy to book, check in, and check out. Only downside as listed and other reviews is that it is above a bar. During our Monday though Thursday night stay could hear the music thumping until about 11:30 PM. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect place for a small group!

The owner's communication was clear and extremely thorough. I sincerely appreciated all the detail included. The loft was gorgeously designed and decorated, and a pleasure to stay in. The beds and bedding were wonderful and gave us all a restful night's sleep. The next time I come to Wichita, I'll be checking for availability here first!

Great Stay

We were very happy with our stay. We felt we were in a safe place with lots of fun stuff around us. The bar underneath was fun and had yummy food. The loft was SO cool and we loved how it was set up. We loved our voucher and the information book. It was a fabulous stay, we loved it!

Historical Urban Getaway

This property was such a fun space! The urban industrial design aesthetic blended so well with original brick walls and other historical touches.The master bedroom and bathroom created a relaxing oasis that made you feel like you were the star role on a movie set. Loved the exposed beams, brick walls, and natural light from the bathroom. The voucher to Emerson Briggs was such a nice treat to get dinner after your arrival, they were very kind and had great food! Things do get noisy since you’re on a busy street and above a restaurant, but it was definitely manageable. There were some security concerns with the door being right there in the street, but the security of this loft is very good. You might have some people walking around town asking for money, etc. but no one was overly dangerous/aggressive. The location is another great feature, no matter what you’re up to in Wichita. There are plenty of parking options, even right in front of the loft.We would love to stay here again in the future and recommend it to anyone we know who will be visiting. Home was above what we expected. Great location and close to many restaurants and night clubs. this location is great for a business trip or when traveling with adults only. Be mindful that Music is loud at night and if traveling with little kids or infants it would be hard for them to fall asleep.

Wow! Such a neat space!

My friends and I were in town for a concert at Intrust Bank Area. This condo is close (walking distance) to all the fantastic restaurants and bars that Old Town offers, as well as the arena. The decor and vibe of this apartment is unlike anywhere I have stayed!! Such a fun atmosphere…Awesome place…would stay again and again!! Perfect for a couples, friends, or bachelor/bachelorette party!

If you love history you will love this place!

This was a beautiful historical loft in Old Town. Lots restaurants/bars and shops within walking distance. Love the old industrial themed furnishings. Amazing master suite. Loved the swinging bed. Training

We utilized this property for 1 night while we were in town for a training. The property owner was very kind and easy to get ahokd of for any questions we had. The loft had plenty of room to sleep everyone. Nice tv to watch the games on. The air conditioning definitely worked well. The only complaint was the smell of tacos from the restaurant. We had a great time. It was a great location and easy walking distance to the Pump House.

Spacious and convenient

Normally we don’t hang out too much in a rented place, but this loft is so spacious and fun to hang out in. Lots of great food and bars in walking distance. The noise was not a factor for us so if you’re thinking about not renting because of some other reviews on the noise, just know it’s not deafening. Plus, you can make as mush noise as you want and no one can hear you! The hosts were very responsive to questions. If there is one negative is that the kitchen could use a few more cups/glasses.

Fun in Old Town

My husband and I stayed at Dave's place over Thanksgiving with our two adult sons and wives. Everyone loved it! It looks just like the photos only better in person. The loft was very clean. Beds were supportive and comfortable. There is plenty of room to spread out in the "open" living area. Bedrooms are also generously sized. There are a number of complimentary small snacks, coffee, and tea provided. Everything you could think of was there for a comfortable stay including nice hand soaps. The furnishings and art work are interesting and show the history of this building in downtown Wichita. A lot of thought and work went into designing this unusual home. The Loft sits above a bar which is especially loud between the hours of 9:00 pm until closing at 2:00 am. We stayed over a holiday weekend which may have been more noisy than normal. The noise did not affect our stay since we are later nighters. Also, there is a unusually long and straight staircase leading to the Loft. Elderly people and people with young children should be aware of this.
