"We had a great stay! The cottages were cozy and well appointed. The staff was AMAZING, well organized at check in and they bring your luggage to and from your cottage for you. We were a group of eight people and the restaurant staff was so pleasant and patient with us. Great food selection available. We love The Brecken Hide. Highly recommend!"

"Beautiful country manor and grounds but once you turn off the main road, it’s a rough single-track road for quite a bit. Not something I would like to traverse at night driving back and forth into Portree for dinner. But, the good news is there is no need to because the food, both dinner and breakfast, are sublime. Our room on the attic level required a climb up two flights and was a bit small and Spartan but comfortable nevertheless."

"Travelled with my family and this was an excellent choice, stayed at the private room and was surprised at the lack of noise from the outside, very good acoustics. Highly recommend and the private bathroom was a plus. Very close to several tourists destinations."
