Such a cozy cabin! One of the biggest perks for me was the location — it’s right off the highway, so there’s no stressful mountain driving and any car can easily make it there. Super convenient access to the casino, national parks, and even a Dollar General nearby. Since it’s close to the highway, you can hear cars outside if that sort of thing bothers you, but honestly it wasn’t an issue for us at all. Once inside watching TV or relaxing, we barely noticed it. The property still feels very private, with trees surrounding the cabin and giving it a nice secluded feel. Check-in was also super simple and easy with no issues at all. The AC worked great, which was much appreciated. They also left coffee, sugar, creamer, clean towels, and soaps for us, which was so helpful because we forgot our coffee! Honestly, this had the best coffee and creamer selection of any rental I’ve stayed at, and my family and I come to Cherokee at least once a month, so we’ve stayed at plenty of places. The WiFi was amazing too. My husband and I are gamers and had zero lag the entire stay. The cabin had everything we needed — stove, fridge, microwave, couch, kitchen table — and they even left a few card games for guests, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everything was very clean and well kept. We also booked this place last minute and they had it ready for us so quickly. DoorDash even delivers there, which was another nice surprise.
