Wonderful place to stay on the west side of Glacier. The lake was refreshing after hiking all morning. Wonderful patio to relax and play games in the evening.
We had an amazing time- perfect location for access to GNP and going to sun road. Kids had just as much fun hanging and swimming in the lake at the cabin too! Very clean and comfortable.
We absolutely loved this place. Set on a serene and beautiful lake, it felt like a hidden retreat — yet it’s only six minutes from the entrance to the park. Trudi, the owner, was gracious and kind, making us feel completely at home.We spent our days exploring, then returned to quiet evenings on the deck, watching the sun dip low and the cool breeze ripple across the water. In the early mornings, the stillness of the lake perfectly mirrored the surrounding mountains, and as the sun rose, it set the water on fire, burning away the low-lying mist — a scene straight out of a painting. If you are looking for a place that is peaceful, quiet, and wonderfully picturesque, this property has it all.
We had a wonderful stay at this lakeside cabin. The boys loved jumping into the lake after long days in Glacier. We loved looking out at the stars. The cabin was clean and the perfect size for us. Highly recommend!
This was a no frills but very comfortable lovely place on lake five. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to spend their days in Glacier NP but come home to a quiet lake, nice apartment and very comfortable bed. The kitchenette was limited and wifi was intermittent but the rest was great.
Loved this piece of heaven in West Glacier. Close to the park and the lake was beautiful and fun for the boys during downtime. Tamara was friendly and sweet. The best host. Thank you!!!
Great location. Partial lake view as the owners house sits directly in front of the rental, but still a great view. Very welcoming. The property manager does meet you prior to take you to the home and give a little tour. The homemade brownies were nice. Beds were extremely comfortable and the home is spacious. Was our best sleep out of the five places we stayed while visiting. The lake was awesome! My kids loved going out on the canoe and paddle boat. The only recommendation would be to have some sort of seating for people down there. Even if it’s a few camping chairs. Overall a great stay and would recommend!
To start with, would I go back? Yes, absolutely. Clean, quiet, and a great location. We arrived a little later than planned and through a couple of text messages the check in could not have been easier. Extremely close to the park with easy access to whatever we needed. Having the canoe was a great bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed my early morning or late afternoon paddle sessions. This place was everything we needed. I highly recommend staying here.
We just returned from our trip to Glacier NP. The rental property was amazing. It was so close to the park and having the lake to play in after a long day of hiking was the cherry on top. My kids kept asking if we could skip the national park and just stay at the rental property! The unit was very clean and more spacious than the pictures show. The manager Tamera was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend this rental. We’d for sure go back. If would be a great place to go even if you weren’t planning on going to Glacier NP.
We stayed in two different cabins while visiting West Glacier, and after staying here, we wished we had only booked this place. We were a little hesitant to book an over-garage apartment, but we were so excited to see how nice the place was. We would definitely stay here again. The only thing we wished for was a secondary AC for the bedrooms. They got a little warm, but they weren’t too uncomfortable. We also enjoyed taking the canoe out on the lake, which was a nice perk. There is another free standing cabin on the property, which could be great for groups. I don’t believe the main house is for rent though. If you’re looking for total privacy, this may not be for you. The area is peaceful and in a great location!
The property was conveniently close to the west entrance of the park.
The lighting was terrible. In the main common area there was one ineffective overhead light with a couple of upright lamps. The lighting was so dim that we were unable to play cards inside the unit.
Additionally the stairs were extremely slippery. The sprinkler system had a morning setting which made the stairs slick whenever we departed for the day.
The shampoo and conditioner lotions left for our use were expired. The one I used dated back to 2022.
I felt the unit lacked any warm, welcoming touches which would’ve been nice particularly given the rates charged for our accommodations.
Wonderful place to relax by the lake after a day in the park. Great location for access to the West Entrance. This place was very clean and host was great to work with!
Terrific location. Our hostess was responsive to our needs and requests. We arrived very late yet she was ready for us. Can’t wait to stay there again.
Beautiful property next to a beautiful lake. We really enjoyed swimming in the lake and having access to kayaks at the end of the day. The home location is right outside the park entrance which made it very easy. Trudi is a wonderful hostess and make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.
Better scenery than conveyed by the pictures! A nice property nestled back in the woods with little to no noise. Being that close to the West entrance made early hikes that much easier. Would come back!
