Worked very well for our group, loved the theater room for Super bowl, easy access to slopes. Everything clean and well kept, a few minor issues that kept the stay from being perfect but would still highly recommend.
My family and a friend’s family spent the week in Whitefish and Glacier. We stayed at the Ridge Top Chalet. We loved the property. It was clean, spacious, and is in such a beautiful area. We had 12 people in our group and we felt like we had plenty of space to spread out and enjoy our time together. We will certainly look to stay here again.
The BEST views on the mountains. Perfect place for our family to have their first ever ski trip. We loved the spacious living area for gathering. Lots of room for a 4th birthday party meal and cake in the kitchen/dining areas. The hooks and cubbies in the garage for ski equipment provided the best play to out those outer layers at the end of a ski day. The deck was the best spot for us to enjoy the torch light parade and fireworks on our last night there. The only issue we had was loss of hot water but the response was quick and we were taken care of in such a manner we will definitely be coming back!
Our stay in Whitefish was absolutely incredible! We gathered a great group of guys to celebrate my son’s 18th birthday, and this ski-in, ski-out location was perfect for the occasion. Everyone loved the convenience of stepping right onto the slopes, and the view of Whitefish Mountain was simply stunning. We lucked out with perfect spring skiing conditions, which made the experience even better. The house had everything we needed for cooking—plenty of pots, pans, and utensils—so we were able to make all our meals there except for lunch. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub was a huge hit, and the movie room was the icing on the cake.Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I highly recommend this place!
It was a beautiful stay! Definitely great for gatherings of family and friends! The hot tub and back patio was the hang out spots for enjoying the views!!
We booked this place to spend time together after our daughter got married in Glacier National Park. It was a perfect set up for a group of 14 people of all ages. The kitchen had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner for our large group each day. We would definitely stay here again!
The hot tub wasn't working when we checked in and the maintenance could not get it working the next day. The hot water went out and we had no hot water for the last three nights of our stay. A staff member was sent to see if they could fix the hot water system and they couldn't. Professionals were not available to fix the system until after we were scheduled to check out. We left the property a day early to check into a hotel and get showers. The property management did give us a discount for our inconvenience which basically covered the hotel rooms.
Amazing views and a great home for our large group
The location, overall property and views of Big Mountain were better than pictures can show. We had a fairly large group of 8 adults and 3 children, and we all felt like we had enough space and the home fit our needs for sightseeing around Whitefish and GNP. We were wishing for one more full bathroom at times, but we knew it could be a challenge prior to booking.
The check-in process and the information provided prior to our arrival was very helpful and thorough. The property managers were always quick to respond to messages and phone calls.
We'd recommend this property for anyone staying in Whitefish, especially with its proximity to the ski resort, the lake and town of Whitefish.
Beautiful house gorgeous views could use some maintenance.
Beautiful views, lovely house! Plenty of room for eleven people. On the top of mountain takes 16min to get to town. Not sure if we were the first people to use the house in a while, but definitely needed a good cleaning. Floors needed swept and washed, garbage disposal smelled and spider webs throughout the house. There was Snot smeared on the shower downstairs. When we opened the cover to the hot tub noticed It had not been cleaned and a beer can fell out. They came out next day and cleaned hot tube. The second day we started to have the real problems. The grill would not ignite had to change dinner plans. The movie screen stop working. They did show up the very next day and gave us a new grill and got the screen to work again. Second to last day the clothes washer was starting to malfunction with 11 people you use alot of towels. The dishwasher stopped working and started turning off and on by itself. They showed up again the next day. Left us a strainer and sponge to do dishes. And somehow the washer started to work fine again even though it said low tank. They also need to clean the washer it really smelled and had build up around the ring. Taking garbage out it was night time, there was a lot of garbage. Some had fallen out of the truck as we went down the mountain and had to clean off the road so already not in a good mood. After trying the code they gave us for 30mins had to bring back to house. They had not given us the right code😠 Needs maintenance.
Overall a wonderful place to stay with unbeatable views! The lift that services the surrounding neighborhood does close earlier in the season so double check with Whitefish to make sure it is running. If not, the ski-in is a short ten minute walk.
Property was clean and in great condition. Couldn’t ask for a better location for a snowboarding trip. Close enough to drive into town to eat and go back to relax at the house after a day boarding. Would definitely stay there again.
Beautiful property with exceptional views. Plenty of space for small family gathering . We were there for a wedding taking place in Glacier Park. It was great to be able to hang out together but enough space to have your privacy also.
We had such an amazing time in Montana and this cabin was the cherry on the top, literally the cabin is a the very top of the mountain! This cabin had amazing views that you could not get anywhere else! The large kitchen made it easy for us to prep food for almost every meal for the entire week! The fireplace was so beautiful after a day of doing everything Montana has to offer!
This was the most beautiful home for me and my closest friends to spend the weekend. It was my first time in Montana, and coming home to this mountain top home was like a gift every time. Lots of space to spread out, the fireplaces made it so cozy, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook just a little bit and the views were out of this world. Would definitely return!
Beautiful and accommodating home for our family of 12. However, there were a few details needing improvement. The family room fireplace did not operate with the remote and we had to call Brittin to help. He also had to fix the controls in the theater room closet as well as the internet. The bed in the upstairs bedroom was very hard as was the queen size bed by the theater room. We had couples in those beds and they were very uncomfortable. The pillows could have been better. The other arrangements were perfect.
The waffle maker was broken.
One of the tiles on the master bathtub fell off midweek.
We loved our stay and the ability to feed our group using the well-stocked kitchen.
We were quite disappointed that the chairlift near the house was closed but realized it was beyond the owners control. Luckily we had one person unable to ski who could be the shuttle driver.
This was a great family experience and we will return. Thank you for allowing us to be guests in your home.
This stunning home and location was a wonderful and relaxing stay.. We could have stayed all day having coffee at the dining table with endless views. The home is very clean. The one draw back, we were told, after we arrived, that we could not use the fireplace. In the listing write-up they say you can use the fireplace and in our welcome email they tell you how to use it, only to arrive and be told we can not. I asked about it 3 times and never got an answer. That was a disappointment for us. The communication with Kody was very good on everything except the fireplace. When we needed an iron,, Kody brought us one right away.. There does seem to be a little bit of a plumbing issue with one of the master sinks and the toilet. Overall our experience was wonderful!
This property is amazing. I would ask about use of the hot tub and fireplaces prior to booking. The property manager was very easy to communicate with.
