Black Diamond Penthouse
This wonderful penthouse condo is a 3-bedroom and 2 full bathroom residence on the top floor of three with large windows and a comfortable living space. Incredible mountain views from the living room, deck and several bedrooms. There is an elevator to easily get to and from the garage. One of the two leather couches pulls out into a Queen-Sized Bed. Sleeps up to 7 comfortably. The gourmet kitchen is fully stocked and has new stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, bar stools and a kitchen table. The living room has a comforting gas fireplace and a flatscreen TV. There is a nice, large deck just off the living room to enjoy on summer afternoons or Apres Ski. Mr. Coffee style coffee maker. Portable a/c units in the living room and each bedroom for those hot summer days. *Ski access via Home Again Trail is 100% snow dependent. There is no guarantee it will be open at the time of your booking.

The master bedroom suite has a queen bed, dresser and private access to the deck with huge mountain views. The master also has a private bathroom with tile tile-enclosed shower. The second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and the third bedroom has a pair of twin beds. These two bathrooms have access to the second full bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo.

WIFI and cable TV are provided. An in-unit washer/dryer is provided. The unit comes with one underground private parking space, a ski locker on the garage floor. There is a large, outdoor hot tub for the use of Black Diamond guests. (Ski season/winter only) It is only shared with 8 total units.

Located a flat block walk to Home Again Ski Trail, which leads down to the Base Lodge. Downtown Whitefish is about 15 minutes away. The west entrance to Glacier National Park is less than an hour away.

Whitefish, Montana is the perfect place for a vacation in WINTER or SUMMER! Walk out the front door and you are just minutes from enjoying the best Montana recreational activities: alpine skiing, cross country treks, fishing, hiking, rafting, golfing, art galleries, gourmet dining, & live theater …the activities are endless. Downtown Whitefish is a quaint town with great restaurants, boutique shops, spas, nightlife, and farmer's market (food, arts & crafts, and music) in summertime. We are conveniently located two blocks from main street Whitefish!

All of the comforts of home!

January ski trip

Great location. Very comfortable condo.Two minor things: kitchen could use some new non-stick pans and the ski lockers are in a inconvenient location that renders them useless.

Big Mountain Summer Fun

This condo was clean, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked. We were a 7 minute walk from the chair lift and all the summer activities on the mountain. I loved that we had all we needed right there- no need to leave the mountain some days! The views were spectacular and it was an easy drive to Glacier National Park. The space was perfect for my family of 4. We would definitely stay again!

Exceeded our Expectations

The Condo was exactly as described and has everything needed for a great stay. Kitchen nicely stocked with spices and service for 8 or more. Beds were very comfortable. Living room area would be a bit small for more than four people, but perfect for us. Nice patio tat looks toward ski slopes. After we scoped out area we discovered a free bus that runs from Whitefish Mt. Village where condo is located into the town of Whitefish all day making it easy to go into town and back. We would definitely stay again

Wonderful view

It was a beautiful view from the porch. Deer would pass by in the evenings. We even had snow flurries and could see the mountain covered in snow. Only negative was the 2 lane roads were being worked on so every day they were closed to one lane and you had to wait to take your turn to and from the condo. Once this is completed, it will be no problem at all.

Beautiful, well-appointed condo in great location

The condo had everything we needed for our 3 day stay with our four granddaughters ages 7-12. We enjoyed the close proximity to the ski lodge and all the fun activities and would love to come back again.

Awesome stay!

We had a group of friends stay for a week of skiing! Most of the group skied directly to the slopes since we had a good amount of snow. We also drove a car to base lodge and it was an easy 2-3 minute drive. Could walk to the village. We enjoyed all the amenities! Would definitely recommend.

Condo was extremely clean and in great shape! Close to ski runs - could walk easily. No heat when we arrived which we were told about. We were told they left space heaters for the bedrooms but none there. Living room warm with fireplace but bedrooms chilly. Heat fixed the next day, then rest of stay great!

Nice property beautiful views.

Check in was confusing. The key pad wouldn’t unlock to get the keys out. I tried to call the property manager, and she didn’t even understand what building I was at. She offered zero help. The listing advertised a king bed and an additional TV NONE of which existed. I did get a response on this when I emailed, but no resolution. Overall the property was nice, but few inconveniences to start the week off.

Nice facility but …

Great condo BUT definitely NOT ski-in/ski-out. We would book from your agency again but NOT that condo. We prefer a true ski-in ski-out stay especially since we will be bringing 4-10 yr olds that can’t walk far in ski boots with skis.

Magical location

Amazing location. Just magical with the snow, proximity to base lodge and pretty easy ski in, ski out. Ski out is a short walk or ski (if snow on the road) down to Home Again. We actually skied back along the north side of the base village past the chair for the terrain park to the road just above this property. Management very helpful and timely in response. Would stay there again.

Comfortable and clean

We had a lovely Christmas stay in this cozy condo. The managers were responsive when we had a wobbly chair and came to fix it. Kitchen was well stocked and the furnishings very comfortable. One caveat - The sleep sofa is not really a comfortable option. A fairly quick walk to chair 1 and 2 (we climbed the bank to get there) or a ski down the road and over the shoulder to get to Home Again trail.

Awesome location!

Stayed here with a friend, came during summer time for outdoor activities and hiking.. We loved the property, it was on the highest floor of the building, had a great patio with views of the mountains. The condo is on ski resort property so it was cool to be able to hike easily from our place, we did a 3 hour hike after work, ate at Bierstube (local pub/restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating). We hiked at Glacier 3 days and it was easy to get to. Condo was fully stocked and has comfy living area with couch, dining table. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here!

Perfect spot

This was an excellent condo for our family of 5. We spent several days in Glacier National Park which was very easy to drive to from this condo. This was the most well-stocked rental we have ever stayed in. They thought of everything and made it a true home away from home. It was comfortable, clean and well-furnished. We would definitely stay here again.

Very nice and roomy facility but there was No A/C in individual rooms. We opened the windows and doors to sleep but the outside lights were too bright. The distance to Glacier national park was about 47 minutes which wasn't too bad except we weren't able to get entry passes so we had to get up at 4 a.m. to get into the park by 6 a.m. That is not the condo's fault.

Great for families

Very clean, well equipped unit. Close to mountain activities. Short drive to town of Whitefish. Unit was as described. (Note: there is no a/c. I’m sure normally not an issue and not something I thought to check when booking but we were there during a heatwave) Great location!

Excellent ski vacation

This condo was perfect for our family ski trip. The location is ideal. It’s about a 5 minute walk up a steep hill to the main lift area. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfy. We would love to come back.
