About this property

Centrally located MidCoast country farmhouse suite, just 20 minutes to Route 1!

  • Your private, country suite awaits you! This separate addition mimics the original 18th century farmhouse charm of the main house it's attached to. Located 20 minutes inland from route 1, in the quaint, old-world town of Whitefield.

Not too big, not too small but just right.... cook some meals if you please, relax and reset.

Upstairs you will find a large open bedroom with a comfy queen bed, walk-in closet and room to sit or sprawl out your yoga mat. The bedroom has a window A/C unit.

Atop the stairs is an unfinished space with two rockers to enjoy your morning coffee or sundown out the big, screened window facing west.

Downstairs you have a good size open space that combines the living and dining rooms as well as the kitchen. TV streaming Amazon/Discovery+, Hulu and Netflix. Full kitchen with stove/oven, microwave, fridge, French press, traditional coffee pot, toaster and more. Pick up some fresh seafood or stop at the local Sheepscot General to make a fresh, homecooked meal. Gaze out the windows at the back field, possibly catching some wildlife passing through. Heat Pump provides heating as well as air conditioning.

Separate office space is perfect for tackling any work that needs to be done before heading out for the day. This room is right off the bathroom, also serving as a space to finish getting ready.
*To accommodate a 3rd guest, I can set up a twin XL bed in place of the desk.

Typical bathroom with standard size tub/shower combo.

    Morning sunlight with shaded afternoons.

Hardwood floors throughout with some area rugs.

    Country living at its best!

20 mins to Wiscasset, 33 mins to Boothbay, 44 mins to Camden, 51 mins to Belfast with so much to see in between!

Book your stay in the countryside and enjoy peaceful, light pollution free nights away from the tourism of "Vacationland".

Quiet and Relaxing

Our trip to Hannah's was wonderful. She has thought of all the little touches that make you feel at home. The house is immaculate and cozy, we had everything we needed. I had mentioned to Hannah we were looking for a tranquil spot and she went the extra mile to take her camping spot offline to be sure we had the quiet we were seeking. Would recommend this place and stay again.

A Hidden Gem

My 24 year old son and I stayed here for 2 nights to visit family in the area . Our final destination was Cutler Coast for hiking/camping so we were not looking to to do Maine tourist attractions. Hannah’s place is very special in a wonderful way. The farmhouse is preserved in history while having every modern essential. She is pays attention to every detail for comfort, aesthetics and efficiency. The property is inviting, well maintained and peaceful. It is a short drive to go to area towns however the roads n Maine are scenic and relaxing to drive on so it never felt like a problem to head out for dinner etc. I would love to return for another stay and likely will. Hannah was accessible and easy to communicate with . ~jj
