"The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was casual and offered a many options. Parking was plentiful. The BBQ offered was tasty and affordable. The location is a short drive to White Sands and they generously offer sleds to borrow. Overall, a great experience for the price."

"If you are looking for a retro (1960) motel experience, this is the place. However, it has modern bedding and lighting. But still, it definitely created nostalgia the minute I walked into the room. I grew up travelling route 66 and this is the type of motel my family always stayed in. It was very clean with nice beds and bedding. It was a very hot summer day when I stayed there but the room air conditioner kept the temperature nice and cool. Highly recommend!"

"It’s a great located house and has everything you could need for a few days stay. If you are looking for aesthetic it might not be what you are looking for but comfort and location are top tier. The host is also very friendly and communicative. It was also great that they are pet friendly."

"Breakfast was good, with plenty of options. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn't able to be used at the time and the room phone didn't work. But the front desk staff were all super nice and helpful. Our itinerary said our check in was at 3pm, the hotel had changed that to 4pm a few months before. They got us checked in at about 3:10pm, as soon as the room was available. The room was clean, with very nice amenities. Coffee, with bottled water! Even makeup wipes, which was great, as I forgot to pack mine. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

"Home was extremely clean and comfortable. Host was quick to reply with any and all concerns. Very cozy home for all our guest. My only recommendation would be possibly having a grill to cookout. Other than that, will definitely make this an every trip option when in Alamogordo."
