"Honestly, this was the cleanest motel I've ever stayed at. Super quaint and cute, and no trouble with our dogs staying with us for a not-so-unreasonable charge. The owners were very friendly and check in was easy. As others have mentioned, the walls are a bit thin, but at least there aren't people stomping around upstairs like at the last Marriott I stayed at (because there is no upstairs). Definitely give it a try! "

"The house was very clean and had all the amenities you need. The view of Lake Huron was amazing. It was so relaxing to be able to sit and enjoy the beautiful views. Maria was a great hostess with just the right amount of contact, just checking to make sure you didn't need anything. The neighbors were pleasant and introduced themselves. The area is not a tourist trap which makes the pace a little more relaxed."
