"We were so pleasantly surprised with our stay. To be honest, our expectation was very low. This was a last minute over night trip and the only place with an available room. The hotel was very simple but clean, clean, clean. The tub, shower was bright clean white. The floors were spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable. I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels that were not as comfortable as the bed we slept in. No musty smell at all. We’ll definitely stay again. "

"This place was beautiful and scenic. There was a great screened in porch and deck facing the water. We were mesmerized by passing Cargo Ships and other boats and wildlife. The living quarters were super functional and comfortable. "

"Lisa was a fantastic host and responded right away to any questions I had. She even has a special gift for my girlfriend's birthday when we arrived. The tiny house/cottage was brand new condition, very clean and fully stocked. Check in and out was a breeze. There are so many beaches within a few miles either way which we explored. Definitely will return."

"We loved the house and there was tons of space for us to spread out. There was a lot of spiderwebs on everything outside all the furniture and rails, we may have been the first rental of the season but luckily there was a hose so we just sprayed everything off. I’d love if there was more hooks or a place to put toiletries in the master bathroom. And for a house that holds that many people more silverware would be nice. Otherwise the place was perfect! "We loved every part of our stay at Castleview Cove! The home was beautiful and MiCasa was so amazing to us! Answering any questions I had and great with response time! The hot tub was one of our favorite parts. You could easily have 5 people in and it was ready for us when we arrived. We weren’t able to figure out how to connect to the Bluetooth, but it did show you could connect and play music to it. The home was so clean and a real treat to explore. And the most amazing views of the lake and sunrise each day. We enjoyed bonfires on the beach, making s’mores, skipping rocks, and if it had been warmer, we would have enjoyed paddle boarding or kayaking since they were available to use. The area was so quiet and peaceful, so we never wanted to leave. The drive to a local grocery was a bit long, but we didn’t mind. We traveled about 25 minutes to Walmart in Sandusky for all our needs. The only draw back was the limited cell service and the Internet didn't quite reach the apartment area in the back of the house. Maybe an extender could be put in?We will definitely be staying here again if it’s available. And we can’t wait to see the finished pool that’s being put in!!! "My sister got married in a very low key ceremony recently and we wanted to throw her and her husband a celebration with their closest friends and family. This was the perfect place for hosting a gathering! There was ample space for food prep and plenty of room for guests to hang out, play games, and enjoy the beautiful weather. Couldn’t have asked for a better location and the host was so helpful in answering any questions we had."
