Easy stop on an I-90 road trip

We travelled from SE Wisconsin to Black Hills, SD and I wanted a place that would be an easy stop more than halfway to our destination. Just a place to sleep the night so we could easily get back up and going the next morning. Many people recommended we look in Mitchell, SD, however I found this lodge instead. It was about 30min further on our trip, and considerably more affordable! Better yet, it was a more fitting accommodation for our family of 5, offering 3 comfortably sized beds in one room. This is a rare find for the oddball family of 5! The room was basic, but comfortable. Full bathroom, with a small table, mini fridge, microwave, COFFEE, TV, And even a couple complimentary snacks, which were appreciated. We didn’t use the TV, But everyone slept well. The host was very responsive to communications, and made check in/out extremely easy. I would definitely choose to stay here again on a future road trip because it had the basics we needed at a very good cost.
