"We stayed for a week in one of the cottages here to attend a wedding. My husband and I, plus my parents, all fit very comfortably in the accommodations. We loved that it had a washer and dryer and a spacious living room to spend time together. I gave it 4 stars in some areas due to us being an interracial family and the listing lacking mention of the historical significance of the property and the choice of decor. The entire house was decorated with images of confederate soldiers, slaves, etc. We made the best of it but we would have preferred to know this in advance. Images of plantation owners hung above our bed, for example. Other than this, the home fit our needs for the duration of our stay and communication with the property was quick and kind. "
