Premium Traveller? Look Elsewhere - Not Worth the Price I paid £1,001.70 for two nights in a Studio Extra. In my view, the room and service did not justify a premium price point. The room was extremely dark, had a prominent cork ceiling that was not apparent from the imagery I relied on when booking, and had an unpleasant smell. The overall presentation was materially below what I would expect from a £500+ per night room. I raised these issues during the stay. The property manager subsequently called me and strongly pushed for an inspection of the room while I was occupying it. I found the interaction unnecessarily accusatory and unhelpful, rather than consistent with the service level I would expect from a premium room. I was subsequently offered £50 by the property. I did not regard this as resolving the wider issue. After charges relating to items on the room bill, only £12 was ultimately returned to me. Expedia subsequently reviewed the matter. The property declined my request for any meaningful gesture. To be clear, my complaint was not simply about personal taste or expecting a particular room design. It was about the relationship between what was represented, the condition and presentation of the room actually provided, and the premium price paid. At approximately £200 per night, I could understand the proposition. At £500+ per night, there are substantially better options in East London. Premium travellers - hard avoid.

Amazing from start to finish, cannot fault it in any way. The breakfast was delicious and so much choice. Every member of hotel staff was so kind and helpful.

An extraordinary stay. Quiet luxury, timeless elegance, impeccable service. MO Hyde Park went above and beyond to make our stay an unique experience and made my birthday memorable; an upgrade to the Hyde Park Suite was truly a special and delightful treat. The birthday dessert and drinks awaiting us in our suite put a smile on my face! Thanks to Leonardo and Francesca for exceeding all of our expectations.

Room was clean, breakfast as usual many varieties and staff overall good.

The location of this hotel is the best. Right in the middle of everything. . Heart of 7 Dials neighborhood.4 min walk to Leiscester sq, Covent Gardens, Tottingham Rd tube stations. 7 Dials Food Hall a 1 min walk. Action happening everywhere. Could prob get noisy, but earplugs made it unnoticeable, and it usually didnt last past 11pm. Breakfast was good..pastries, yogurt, eggs, fruit..and you can order french toast, pancakes, omlettes if you want. Never had to wait for the elevators. Loved the urban anthropology toiletries. Wish they sold them there. My only minor complaint is that the pump bottles sometimes did not work well. Staff was great. They even lent me a voltage converter for my stay. My friends stayed near the Tower of London in a more modern hotel, but they kept coming into my area because that is where everything was. I dont regret changing from their hotel to mine at all.
