Oasis in Wyoming

We had a wonderful experience at this mini oasis in eastern Wyoming. Everything was as advertised. The house, bedrooms, and bathrooms were immaculate and in amazing condition. The exterior including the yard and the pond were fantastic. I would highly recommend this place and would stay there again if we are in the area.

Wyoming the wonderful

What a fun location to stay at. we swam in the pond, checked out the river, watched the horses and got to see a night sky like no other. We were not far from home just a quick staycation. Wheatland is very quiet but the house is super secluded about 20 minutes from town and it was a very refreshing and perfect for a quick get away!! 100% recommend this home for vacation!!

Family weekend

Our group of 7 adults and 3 kids had a wonderful weekend. The property is beautiful - lots of thought went into the layout of the house and small pond behind with a little beach and shade. We had plenty of bedroom space and with four bathrooms, there was no waiting. It was quiet and peaceful. Dan was very responsive to any questions and took great care of us. Couldn't recommend more highly.

Peaceful place for our family

This home is the perfect space for a quiet getaway with the family or a group of friends. It's very private and very large both inside and out. Kitchen provided nearly every cooking untensil that you could think of. Beds are super comfortable and there is plenty of space for several guests. Our grandkids loved the pond and paddle boards. The sweet pony Daisy brought us joy too. We would highly recommend this stay. A couple of concerns was driving down the rocky lane in a mini-van and the slats on the staircase are a little wide for our 2 year old grandson who loves to climb. That was a little concerning but overall we loved the place. Dan was very responsive and great to work with.

Our stay here at the Lodge on the Bluegrass was amazing! It was so peaceful and quiet! The house was perfect for our group with all the bedrooms and bathrooms. The pond behind the house was where we spent all of our time. We hope to stay again!

The property was extremely well kept and the surroundings beautiful. We mentioned our elderly Mama needing a recliner to sleep in and he actually brought in a lift chair which was absolutely above and beyond what we ever expected.

The Lodge on Bluegrass was one of the best vacation rentals we've had. There was plenty of space for our large group, the house was well-stocked with linens, towels, kitchen supplies, and activities for the yard and pond that were available on the property. We loved seeing all the animals (horses, wild turkeys, coyotes, birds, and fish) and being able to feed the horses and turkeys was a wonderful experience. The check-in and check-out processes were super simple and the privacy of the home was wonderful.

Beautiful home and property

We spend a lot of time at the pond, it was such a fun time! This property has everything you’ll need. Appliances, some life jackets, some paddle boards, dishes, very much like a wonderful home. Property manager was polite and helpful without being overbearing. I believe we will be returning.

Best getaway!

We had the best time! Our goal was to disconnect and relax, and this did just that for us! We ventured down to the local bar and grill, The Shamrock…absolutely fabulous And very low key! We took a day trip into Albany and rented side x sides at the Albany Lodge, well worth the trip! We enjoyed Cheyenne Frontier days on two separate days and had a great time! The kids loved the pond and the paddle boards, and sweet Daisy made everyone smile everyday when she would come down for her pets and treats! If we ever visit Wyoming again, we will definitely contact Dan! 10/10

Perfect Getaway!

We were a group of old friends getting together from various locations in hopes of relaxation and reconnecting - this home was the perfect place to do that! Met by a small heard of patient cows by the property entrance, we knew we were in for a unique experience. The house is nestled on acres of land with it's own private pond and clear creek. So beautiful and remote - exactly what we needed to feel away from the hustle and bustle. The house is unassuming at first but seemed to magically expand to create space for everybody - well organized rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen - there was nothing that we needed that wasn't provided. We spent most of our time on the wonderful deck, walking the land, in the river or napping near the pond. There was a place for a nightly bonfire and evening visits from the horses and pony that graze nearby. Unbelievably idyllic and picturesque. We've promised to try and come back next year and do it all over again!

Great property for our family reunion

We picked a location for our family that was traveling from four different states. It really was perfect for our needs. We had rooms and beds for everyone. With six grandchildren, we needed a place to keep them entertained with outdoor fun. This was the place. We spent a lot of time at the private pond doing fishing, frog finding, swimming, splashing, and paddle boarding. We saw turkey and deer. The owner stopped by to take out the trash and check on our needs. We hired a photographer to come and take family photos. The setting was great for that with varied backgrounds. We would recommend this for a family getaway where kids are free to roam and explore.

90th Birthday Celebration :)

This is a wonderful lake house in a quiet setting where we shared a birthday celebration with family. Mum (English spelling) enjoyed her 90th birthday on the lake with her grandsons, daughter and son-in-law. The house was lovely with plenty of space for everyone, it was also very well stocked, and easy to check in. Daisy, the pony, dropped by several times a day, she even joined us on our daily walk. Be sure to sit on the deck when the stars come out...it will take your breath away. Book this property you will not regret it.

Wheatland Retreat

If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. We will definitely return to this oasis on the Wyoming plains. In town for a family wedding and picked the ideal spot to stay. The night stars were incredible. Also celebrated my wife's 70th Birthday with family. Thank you Dan!

The best chill family reunion

We were looking for a place close to my sister where we could get together and just hang out for a weekend. The nice cool cabin with plenty of space to spread out, the lake, and the yard all in one place was the perfect solution!! The cabin is extremely well stocked, there is absolutely no hassle with the hosts at all. Perfect really!!

Gorgeous

Absolutely amazing place to stay in secluded area with everything we needed. The location of the house is on a ranch with no neighbors in sight. The directions provided were spot on and easy to find even during our late arrival in the dark. We had family from multiple locations come in from all over. The house was huge and very accommodating. The access to the pond and river were only steps away. Norb stopped in to check on us and threw some grain out, we had horses sitting out the front deck during our stunning sunset. Perfect place and looking forward to coming back!

Western Wonderland

Our family, 7 adults and 4 children age 8 and under, all loved this destination. Everything was clean and well maintained. The lodge was gorgeous and comfortable. Without even leaving the property, there was swimming, fishing, and hiking. The scenery was breathtaking and unspoiled. Perfect for those who can create their own entertainment and don't require a lot of city amenities. The house was well stocked with anything you could possibly need. The host of this property made sure we were comfortable and felt welcome. I would highly recommend this property for a family get-away.

Wonderful place for a family getaway

This was a perfect place for our families to get together. The kids had a great time paddle boarding, riding bikes, and playing in the creek. The house was completely stocked with everything we needed and very clean. We will definitely return!

This property is a great place to get away from everything. You can fish on the river that is literally right out the front door. There is a good sized pond to paddle board on. The kids loved swimming everyday. The house is huge and stocked so well! If we happen to forget something they had it. When we did a store run we replaced it. This place is amazing we all enjoyed making memories here. I’m sure we will go back! The family that owns it were so kind and helpful! This is the best vrbo we have stayed in yet.

Beautiful Western Lodge

Our Groups stay was cozy, warm and very private. The Lodge and amenities were more than we could have expected with beautiful scenery that immersed everyone in a truly wild, luxurious and Wyoming experience.
