Peaceful bnb homestay, very close to the city

Come for a quality stay in an immaculate, modern home with friendly hosts. Enjoy home made baking and jams. We are a few blocks to the CBD and supermarkets - some guests choose to walk there. Most of the local attractions are found in town, eg restaurants, museum, art galleries, local market, i-SITE, river cruise.
City haven provides private accommodation with indoor and outdoor seating areas. The homestay has a shared kitchen, free WiFi and free private parking. There is a twin room available on a separate listing under City Haven BnB Twin Room. Both rooms share a bathroom - $160 each room.
The nearest airport is Whanganui, 5 km from the accommodation, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service.
We live in a quiet cul de sac. There are not many cars in the street - which means easy parking. Our street is opposite the Racecourse and the Whanganui Function Centre. The hospital is 5 minutes drive.
Our conservatory is the room in our house that people gravitate to as it is a real sun trap. The bifold doors open up two walls of the room bringing the 'outside in'.

Graeme and I decided to start travelling 40 years ago. This we have done to numerous countries utilising hotels, home exchanges, house sitting and air bnbs. It is such a pleasure to share experiences with our guests; the good and the bad. It is like revisiting our travels all over again. We thoroughly enjoy hearing of our guests' experiences and future travel plans, helping if needed. Besides travelling, we both enjoy gardening, Bridge and e-biking.

A nice and clean house, close to the city, quiet and safe street. Two large bedrooms and sharing kitchen and lounge with a friendly retired couple (the owners Clare and Graeme). Yummy homemade preserved fruit and cereal for breakfast. Lovely place to stay
