We’ve had the best time at Alpine Chalets. Amazing hospitality from the staff, the rooms are clean, tidy and very modern. The views were spectacular of the mountains! Highly recommend, will definitely be back :)

Always love the feel of serenity I get when I visit this area ❤️
I was surprised and disappointed that there was only one chair lift working on the whole mountain on Saturday until about 2.00 pm I had paid for a whole mountain pass. Apparently the western T has only been open twice this season.
I stayed in the Chateau Hotel and it was fine. Very limited activities other than skiing and snow Play. So no supermarket, shops and nothing to do at night. From what I heard from people visited there, they come for the snow and skiiing and they retu
Beautiful area, but weather not dependable. We ended up skiing at Turoa as Whakapapa was closed.
