"We really enjoyed our stay at the property. It’s a great rural setting with friendly donkeys. And close enough to the Karangahake gorge trails. The local swimming hole is a fun refreshing adventure. The house had everything you need and is very homely. Good selection of kids games and picture books."

The house was tidy, had an excellent layout, and was well appointed with utensils, appliances etc. Being right beside a right of way to the beach is a real plus with kids, and there’s no excuse for not going for a morning walk! "Lovely historical cottage, cosy and a wonderful part of history. Location is fabulous if doing the Hauraki Rail Trail (outside the door) and/or catching the train to/from Waikino. Took our dog, not fully fenced but still loves it."

"We were woken at 4am with car alarm going off. Thank god they didnt take our car. They tried. Should have security lights at front. Also state stairs as i am 79 had a hard time going up steps."
