About this property
House on the edge of the forest with a sauna and a view of the Rhine Valley
This nature house is a detached wooden chalet, very cosy and pleasantly situated. . The property is fenced, borders directly on the forest, and is located above a small village. It’s very quiet and beautiful, nestled in the heart of an UNESCO World Heritage Site with a lovely view of the Rhine Valley. The world-famous Loreley Rock is 4 km away. The holiday home has two floors. Each floor has a bedroom with a comfortable bed. The floors are connected by an open wooden staircase. Upstairs, a fireplace provides cosy warmth and a romantic atmosphere. Gas central heating is available throughout the house. It’s pleasant to stay here in both summer and winter. There are various seating areas in the shade and in the sun.
The estimated cost of 12.50 euros per person per night covers a one-time provision of bed linens, tea towels, and bath towels. All beds are made upon arrival!
This holiday home features a traditional Finnish sauna. It can be easily booked for €10.00 per night for the entire stay through the host via the holiday rental message box or on-site.
Perfect for long walks in the forest and along the Rhine. Nearby: vineyards and castles. A highlight for hikers: the Rhine Heights Hiking Trail right nearby! From the garden, you can walk straight into the forest. You can enjoy beautiful hikes lasting several hours along the Rhine, in the valley, or on the hills, which can be easily combined with the regional train. A boat trip on the Rhine is also an option; several short and long cruises depart from here multiple times a day, passing the world-famous Loreley Rock. For cycling enthusiasts, there are plenty of opportunities for various excursions along the Rhine. Several castles and fortresses. A summer toboggan run on the Loreley Plateau. The famous Bad Ems is just a 20-minute drive away. The medicinal drinking water, once enjoyed by kings and monarchs, still flows from the spring (free of charge), and there is a beautiful indoor and outdoor thermal pool for both summer and winter. There’s also a lovely heated natural swimming pool for all ages (with a water slide). There are many interesting things to do in the surrounding area. An ostrich farm is within walking distance, where you can enjoy a delicious, affordable, and satisfying meal and wind down the day on the terrace.
