It was in a very good location. The rooms were clean. Staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely. The spa wasn’t open but would have love to have seen it.

Room spotless....staff were so lovely. Beautiful hotel...will definitely stay again
Room clean, hotel updated and nice, breakfast decent. Check-in was a little slow (2-3 staff, but still a 15+ minute wait to get to the front of the line), and the building is undergoing some renovations so there was noise. I slept like a rock though.
The hotel is well located in the town. Short walking distance to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Its a peaceful hotel and I found my stay relaxing, which is what I was hoping for. I would definitely stay there again.
Spacious, well maintained hotel with excellent facilities. Large beds made for a comfortable nights sleep.

Room spotless, staff attentive, good amenities, breakfast excellent, great to have the addition of takeaway cups for the coffee machine.
Only negatives are the corridors looked very tired and in need of updating as did some of the furniture around the foyer. I'm lead to believe a refurb is planned.
Lovely hotel. Parking underneath in car park. Ticket from reception allowing free use during our stay (barcode ticket to use). Comfortable and a nice breakfast. The sticky toffee pudding is huge and shareable.
I don't often write negative reviews, but this property is just sad. It once must have been a nice hotel, but certainly not any more due to filthy conditions and lack of maintenance. First, the shower was not usable because the drain was completely plugged. It must not have been cleaned in a long time since it would have been noticed by the cleaners. Not just slow, completely clogged. The sink in the bathroom was full of mold. The coffee maker in the room was absolutely disgusting and not even put together properly. The carpet was badly stained, paint peeling on the walls, unsealed cracks everywhere. The tub had obviously not been cleaned since the last use. The view from our suite on yhe top floor was outstanding, but that is about all. Luckily we only booked it for one night and could not get out fast enough. The staff did not seem to care at all about these issues, so I assume they must hear these all the time.

Room was fine, toilet wouldn’t flush without holding in both flush buttons together and holding for a number of seconds.
Reception staff very friendly, bar staff courteous but breakfast staff indifferent and a terrible buffet breakfast. Food was cold, asked for fresh eggs twice as chef brought them out and took back as there old congealed miserable eggs under the heater.
Perfect location. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and breakfast was excellent. Had a great coffee shop and enjoyed using the pool and gym. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Met up with friends who live in Ross Laire We will stay here again next time we visit.
