River Haven - Rest and relaxation guaranteed!

Come find rest and relaxation at River Haven. Our beautiful new cottage is located directly on the banks of the Chauga River and is secluded within 10 acres.

The cottage is light and airy with large windows and high ceilings throughout for viewing the river and surrounding area. The cozy, well appointed living space provides a complete kitchen, master bedroom, living area with sleeping sofa, and bath. In addition to the beautiful indoor space, two porches and a hammock area are available to enjoy the rushing river sounds. A riverside firepit and sitting area will also provide an excellent opportunity for relaxation.

Visitors of River Haven, will enjoy fishing, tubing, kayaking, and swimming in front of the cabin or simply curling up with a book listening to the river. Also you may experience the thrill of Chattooga White Water rafting just 15 minutes from the cottage.

If you enjoy hiking, nearby waterfalls provide for wonderful hiking opportunities. Boating and skiing activities can also be enjoyed on nearby Keowee, Jocassee, and Hartwell lakes. Other areas of interest nearby are Chattooga Belle Farm Distillery & Vineyards, Clemson University Tiger football, Brooks Center for the Performing Arts, Duke Power World of Energy, antiquing, White Water Falls, Chattooga white water rafting, visit to Clayton, Ga and shopping just to name a few.

This is a great getaway for a couple wanting a quiet place to relax. There’s also a ton of hiking within 15-30 minutes with lots of waterfalls!

Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful river side cottage. Everything was so comfortable, clean, and inviting. The wonderful views along with the peaceful surroundings made this the perfect getaway if you are looking to disconnect from everything and enjoy nature. The host was very accommodating and provided all the information that we needed to have a great stay!

The cottage was just as described. I had a problem with the gate. I messaged the host, and it didn't take long for her to respond. It is a beautiful location. Nice and quiet. I enjoyed my stay very much. I hope to visit again.

Beautiful location on the river!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and charming. The location was right on the river and the grounds were so serene and beautiful. You are very close to local parks as well. We really enjoyed the privacy.

Cozy cabin getaway

This cabin was awesome! The location is super quiet and peaceful with the river out front. The driveway is long and allows you to feel secluded and tucked away in your own little oasis. The cabin itself is very clean and super cozy for a nice weekend getaway.

Fun on the river

It's a great place, I have stayed a couple of times, this time was the first,we didn't have beach towels, but other than that it was great,and there's one step going to picnic area that's loose,if you remember it you will be fine,it is a great spot,did have a scorpion on curtain, but that happens when near water, I just checked everything and it's all great, that happens.Just me and the kids went.we had a wonderful time, I will stay again and tell everyone about your place.

Great, cozy stay

The house was just as described. Right on the river, well-appointed, clean and cozy. Loved the furnishings and lamp lighting inside and the porch life outside. Strong WiFi and smart tv was a plus, and it’s about 10 minutes from an Ingles. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful and peaceful cabin in the woods

We loved the cabin! Was so quiet and scenic, many nice touches to make the cabin feel like home. We saw a lot of wildlife, including deer - drive slow! Would definitely stay here again :)

Nice short getaway?

This is a quiet location and so peaceful! My teens had a great time exploring the river and we were close enough to all sorts of other great adventures to visit many places. The house was super clean with amazing views.

Great Cabin Getaway!

If you're looking for a great place to get away with great views, go ahead and book this one! This cabin is clean, comfortable, and well-furnished. We stayed two nights and had everything we needed. We took a dip in the creek that runs right outside the cabin. My wife says we'll be staying here again.

Perfect River Getaway

This location was absolutely beautiful and the cabin was immaculate. We had a wonderful time visiting with our friends who live nearby and having them stop in for grilling and playing by and in the river. Such a nice and peaceful place. Will definitely recommend or stay again.

We needed a getaway where we felt like we were the only ones around, and it didn’t disappoint! Serene quiet atmosphere with a small calm river. The cabins decor was absolutely beautiful, and it was tidy and quaint. Absolutely lovely.
