About this property

Top country house for family & friends with dreamlike property

  • Historic doctors' villa (>350 m2) in the North German country house style of the turn of the last century.

    The property has the characteristic features of a Wilhelminian style house and is furnished with great attention to detail. Luxury furnishings in many rooms with high ceilings, stucco, fireplace/tiled stove, granite floors, large terrace, park-like grounds (approx. 3,800 m2) and much more. Additional beds can be provided if required. A workplace with office chair, printer and monitor is available. Please contact us if you require anything else.

    You can reach the North Sea coast in about 15 minutes by car. From there, the East Frisian Islands are easily accessible by ferry (e.g. for day trips).
    The "Ewige Meer", the largest upland moor lake in Germany, can be reached in approx. 15 minutes by bike. 3 Dutch bikes, a road bike and a children's bike are available. A bike hire shop is just a few minutes' walk away.

    In Norden and Aurich there are good producer markets and other shopping facilities. Basic needs can be easily met directly in the village.

    For art lovers we recommend the Kunsthalle Emden, for antique collectors or those interested in nostalgic pieces the "Alte Schmiede" in Aurich-Tannenhausen and for humourists a visit to the Ottohaus in Emden. Children like to go to the MachMitMuseum miraculum in Aurich.

    Golf courses in Lütetsburg and Wiesmoor are not far away. The water ski and wakeboard centre in Aurich-Tannenhausen is popular with young and old alike.

    Sea enthusiasts will enjoy the seal centre in the National Park House in Norden or on trips to the islands (e.g. Spiekeroog) with the fishing boat (e.g. Gorch Fock).

    The Holtriemer Land or the "green pearl in front of the North Sea beach" also impresses with the typical East Frisian landscape, wide green meadows and fields - or you can relax in the comfort of your own garden.

Sehr schönes, an der einen oder anderen Stelle etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Haus mit einem sehr großen und schönen Garten. Für Kinder und auch Hunde ein Paradies. Sehr gute Küche mit aus unserer Sicht kompletter Ausatattung. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieter und Kämmerer ums Haus.

Das Haus war für die Größe unserer Gruppe ( 13 Personen ) optimal ausgestattet. Die Ausstattung der Küche mit Geschirr und Gläsern ist sehr gut. Die Küchengeräte sind qualitativ hochwertig. Die Lage des Hauses ist gut. Sehenswürdigkeiten, Gaststätten sind schnell erreichbar. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es fußläufig. Es gibt einen großen Garten, der für Kinder zum Spielen ideal geeignet ist. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt.

Einzigartig

Veronika hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und ist die ideale Repräsentantin Ihres wundervollen Hauses mit Geschichte und Persönlichkeit. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl bei Ihnen gefühlt und durften bei traumhaftem nordischen Sommerwetter Ostfriesland genießen. Die Freundlichkeit der Menschen und als Kontrast die karge Landschaft haben durchaus ihren Reiz. Langeoog und Jever haben wir besucht und Dornumersiel bei Ebbe und Flut mit allen Kindern ist ein Riesen-Wasserspielplatz. Geradelt, gesportelt, zum Ewigen Meer mit Hund gejoggt und sich mit Köstlichkeiten im „Hafensänger“ und im „Klüntjepot“ belohnt. Die Dornumer Windbeutel sind eine Sünde wert.Kurzum: eine perfekte Familienzeit mit drei Generationen.Vielen Dank dafür.

Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Vor allem die Küche lässt in ihrer Ausstattung keine Wünsche offen.Auch wenn man wie wir mit 10 Pers. anreist findet jeder auch mal einen kleinen Rückzugsort. Der Garten ist sehr großzugüg und ist für Kinder und Haustiere optimal.

Wunderschönes Haus

Wir haben den Jahreswechsel in diesem alten schönen Haus sehr genossen. Die Küche ist wirklich mit allem und dazu auch hochwertig ausgestattet. Sehr freundliche und kompetente Betreuung.

Geburtstag / Silberhochzeit

++ Das Objekt ist perfekt um eine schöne Zeit mit Familie und Freunden zu verbringen. Der Garten lädt bei passendem Wetter dazu ein, Draußen zu verweilen und bietet Rückzugmöglichkeiten zum Chillen oder Spielen. Küche ist super ausgestattet , auch sind viele alltägliche Dinge vor Ort , die benutzt werden dürfen. Kontakt zur Hausbetreuung / Vermieter gut. Es wird sich gekümmert. In dem Haus selber gibt es genügend Rückzugmüglichkeiten - - Lage direkt an der Hauptstraße , ist gelegentlich laut. Beleuchtung ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Die Zimmer bieten keine Möglichkeit Kleidung aufzuhängen. Ein Nachttisch mit Licht ist auch nicht vorhanden. Fazit: Und hat es gefallen in diesem Ferienhaus zu wohnen und wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen.

Familienweihnachten

In den Weihnachtsferien waren wir mit zehn Personen und Hund für zwei Wochen in der charmanten Villa. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz. Der Kontakt sowohl mit dem Vermieter als auch mit der Hausverwalterin hat super funktioniert, sie waren jederzeit ansprechbar bzw. vor Ort. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Familienurlaub an der Nordsee

Wir sind mit 12 Personen angereist (Familie - drei Generationen) und waren schon beim Eintritt ins Haus begeistert - ein wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit so viel Charme und Ambiente. Wir hatten sehr viel Platz mit den vielen Zimmern, dem schönen, großen Garten - die Kinder zum Spielen, aber auch, um sich einfach einmal zurückzuziehen.Da machen Regentage gar nichts aus. Die gehobene Ausstattung der Küche war einfach super. Das Meer ist nicht weit und auch die Inseln sind gut zu erreichen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und uns wohlgefühlt, nicht zuletzt durch den freundlichen Kontakt mit dem Vermieter und Personen vor Ort. Sehr zu empfehlen!

3 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder genossen 7 Tage in einem wunderschönen Haus. Das Wetter zeigte die ganze Palette des Oktobers, vom sonnig und warm bis regnerisch und kalt. Besonders das Versteckspielen in dem großen Haus war ein Highlight. Das Esszimmer hatte einen sehr großen Tisch, an dem wir reichlich Platz für die Mahnzeiten und auch zum Spielen fanden.

Die Villa war toll ausgestattet, hatte ausreichend Platz, einen sehr schönen Garten und Innenhof. Wir waren mit 4 Generationen dort, haben uns alle wohl gefühlt und eine gute Zeit verbracht. Die Kommunikation mit der Hausverwalterin so wie der Besitzerfamilie war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Für Familientreffen ist die Villa sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank!

Familienurlaub

Leider war bei unserem Aufenthalt das Wetter nicht so schön und wir konnten dieses tolle parkartig angelegte Grundstück nur wenig nutzen. Ein herrliches Grundstück für Familien mit kleineren Kindern, den bei verschlossenem Tor bestand keine Möglickeit für die Kinder das Gelände zu verlassen. Das Haus, in welchem sich früher eine Arztpraxis befand hat einen ganz eigenen Charme, da es im wesentlichen nicht verändert wurde. Durch die dunklen Wandfarben ist es allerdings recht duster drinnen, was uns halt durch die Regentage besonders aufgefallen ist. Ganz besonders gefiel unseren Enkelkindern das offene Dachgeschoss, in welchem sie geschlafen und gespielt haben.

Familienurlaub

Wir haben wirklich schöne Tage in Westerholt verbracht. Die tolle, geräumige Villa mit dem großen Grundstück hat ihren Teil dazu beigetragen. Die modern eingerichtete Küche ließ keine Wünsche offen. Für die Abende hätte ich mir vielleicht ein gemütliches Sofa gewünscht. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden und würden gerne wiederkommen.

Schöner Großfamilien Herbst Urlaub

Unsere Großfamilie hatte viel Platz im geräumigen Haus mit seinen 7 Schlafzimmern. Es war sehr urig durch die vielen recht unterschiedlich gestalteten Zimmern, auch der riesige Garten und seiner Terrasse lud zum verweilen ein. Der Startpunkt zu den Inseln und den Hafenorten war recht günstig. Die Pizzeria/Restaurant Roma ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben dort 1x gegessen (Vorreservierung sinnvoll) , aber auch der Lieferservice klappte einwandfrei. Der Vermieter und die Hausverwalterin waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Gerne wieder.
