Westendorf is in the middle of the Kitzbüheler Alpen and right at the entrance to the Brixental. A few kilometres away, you can reach the town of Kitzbühel. Westendorf is part of the well-known ski area SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental. The area has almost 300 kilometres of pistes. This is also an ideal area for cross-country skiers; there are perfectly prepared cross-country trails that lead you to the most beautiful spots.
In summer, there are many opportunities for hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. Summer cable cars take you to the gentle grassy mountains of the Kitzbüheler Alpen. There are many fun excursion destinations in the mountains. But want to take a break? Then head to one of the cosy mountain huts. When temperatures rise, you can cool down in the mountain lakes and public swimming pools of the Brixental
