"Came with my partner for 3 nights ended up booking an extra night while there , very helpful staff, staffed 24 hrs , room basic but clean everything you need for a short break could go with extra plug socket as only 2 in room under the desk , breakfast great lots of choice full English or cereal, toast , pancakes etc , bar reasonable priced , light on outside sign of hotel bulbs need replacing as takes look away from building will definitely be staying there again"

"Stayed here to break up the journey driving from France to Manchester and chose it largely based on price so I wasn't expecting much and therefore was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was very clean, rooms were a good size, beds really comfy and staff welcoming and professional. Kids loved the fishtanks, a great touch. Breakfast was really busy at 9am but the staff worked hard. Cereal, toast, coffee and a full English were all had. My only criticisms are that the room was a bit dated and the bathroom needs a facelift. The shower was powerful enough but the showerhead was fixed and low (I'm only 6ft) so a bit awkward. The tv is small and far away from the bed but that's just me being picky. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely stay here."

"Room was very basic but ok for a short trip it was clean and checking in at late hours was a bonus. There was no air con or fans so if I stayed again in this heat I would have to supply my own to feel more comfortable but overall happy and pleasant."

"The bedding could have been cleaner, there were some stains on the silk and dust across the tv unit area. The hotel WiFi kept losing connection. The restaurant area, could have been dusted down before we were seated. The glass roof and doors had stains and bird poop which is not pleasant to see especially when you are eating. Staff were friendly but the overall maintenance could have been a lot better and cleaner."
