Nothing short of Amazing!

The views are great, the private chef Adrian was amazing, the property manager & family did everything to make our beach front vacation feel seemless. You need at least two weeks to experience this property & Island

Lighthouse Nevis

The lighthouse was great and is better than the pictures online. The staff was friendly the owner answered any questions and offered to assist with any transportation needs. The food at the beach club and the staff there was great. We only stayed 3 nights before heading to St Kitts. We definitely plan on returning and staying for a longer period.

The Lighthouse review

We loved the privacy, boutique type resort and proximity to auto ferry. Excellent communication with Hedda. Staff was attentive to our needs. The unit provides all you need including a Nespresso coffee machine. Clean and updated. Pictures are accurate. We are happy to recommend this property.

Sunny Ocean front Oasis

The place was very clean and very beautiful. This place is on a property where you would never have to leave. It has the beach with chairs and shade. A small rocky reef out front with some fish swimming and a restaurant on the property open from breakfast to dinner. The room is similar to a hotel room layout but it has 360 degrees of windows which we enjoyed having a nice view from any place in the room and lots of natural light. The owners were very friendly and helpful with any questions or concerns we had. We enjoyed our time at the "lighthouse" as well and the island of Nevis.

Mostly great...

Pros: Spectacular view! Amazing sunsets! Beautiful beachfront property! Wonderful staff and service! Delicious food! Private and quiet! Cons: No real "kitchen" area: mini-fridge under sitting area bench- very difficult to get to (we both pinched our figures a few times); all kitchen items located in bathroom area - must wash dishes in bathroom sink. No drawers for unpacking clothes, except for under the bed; again, difficult to get to Listing has a few inaccuracies: While it's a lovey walk along the beach, you cannot walk all the way to Charlsetown; rock outcrops prevent that. There is no TV- we didn't care, but others might; No tennis on the property-again, we didn't care, but others might. Overall, we had a fantastic stay!

Lighthouse was unique and private

Woke up each morning to the ultimate beach view. It was clean and bright. The hosts were friendly and informative. Chrishi’s restaurant is next door for breakfast, or assistance anytime. I recommend this place if you want a natural setting ON the beach.

Overall our stay at the property and in the Lighthouse was very pleasant and enjoyable. It was very quiet so it was like having a private beach. The Lighthouse is small and quaint as described with amazing views. Having the Chrishi Beach Club (restaurant) on site was very convenient. There are a few other places to eat within walking distance, but the main supermarket requires a cab ride.Although not an issue for some, renters should be aware that the window coverings provide privacy, and some limited light protection, but not great. There is also glass block on three walls so when the sun rises, the Lighthouse gets light!We had a small issue with our shower (not getting to a desired temperature) that was going to get addressed.

Highlight of Nevis Holiday

We were unfamiliar with the island, so we hedged our bets and stayed in different properties over our two week holiday. We were glad to experience other areas, but the two nights spent in the Lighthouse studio at Chrishi Beach were our favourite accommodations, preferred to our house rental, high end hotel and plantation stay. The room is spotless and everything is new - good shower, air conditioning, Nespresso, mini fridge (ice cold for our snacks and drinks), insulated tumblers for the beach, glassware, turkish towels, blankets, textiles... The windows open up fully on both sides so you feel as though you're in a luxe cabana. The bathroom is open to the room (behind a partial wall). Really this spot was well done, someone paid careful attention to the details here and it pays off for the guests. Location-wise, we didn't venture past the (Cades/Chrishi) beach during our stay there, there isn't anything within a short walk, but taxis are no problem on Nevis. We ordered takeaway from Indian Summer, they deliver - excellent Indian food. Highly recommended.

Heaven on earth

This is a MUST STAY!! Friendly staff and owners, privacy, peace and a beautiful beach. We are definitely coming back. Hedda and her wonderful husband, Christian are the epitome of welcoming and if Hedda says to go eat, visit or play somewhere while you are there, make sure you go do it! Every single recommendation we followed was the absolute best. At the adjoining beach club, make sure you have a Hedda’s salad and try their breakfast burrito with the local Lewellyn’s hot sauce. We even went to the LOCAL GROCERY during our stay to make sure we could take some Lewellyn’s home. Taxis are not super expensive, plentiful and accommodating so you can get anywhere on the island without a car and driving on the “wrong side of the ditch” if you are US Americans, but we may get a car next time just for the convenience. The private water taxi from St Kitts to Nevis felt like a supreme luxury after being on the plane in a mask for 6+ hours and it’s totally worth the 50 US we happily handed over to the boat captain. One additional wonderful thing about this property is the beach bar staff (Candi and “Sharisi”, pardon me if that isn’t correct spelling!!) will call taxi or do anything else for you if you ask. We had the best time, it was a perfect vacation from the minute we landed until we left.

Relaxed, off the beaten track getaway

We had a wonderful time at this little guest room. It's on the second floor of a small building, currently only one other guest room in the building...so lots of peace, quiet and privacy. The beach is beautiful with views of St. Kitts, and is practically all yours. The beach club is just a few steps away where you can enjoy great food, drinks and views. The staff at the beach club are wonderful, as are the staff on the grounds. Hedda helped us coordinate transportation to/from the airport in St. Kitts, and also helped us get a rental car after we decided we needed one. A few notes: - You can walk to several restaurants; there is a small fruit-stand/market across the street, and technically you can walk to Charlestown via the beach/surf or the road, but neither routes are super-pedestrian friendly. Most of the restaurants and destinations on the island will require a taxi or car, which is why we decided to rent a car after a few days - the room is fairly small and the bathroom is completely open to the room, all fine with us because we were outside most of the time and there were places to go sit outside Our only wish was that we could crack the windows open at night; the windows are very large and old-fashioned and have to be latched either completely closed or wide open, and wide open wasn't practical overnight due to wind bursts and the occasional rain shower. We definitely hope to stay here again when we return to Nevis!

Simply Beautiful!

Falling asleep to the sound of the waves hitting the shore, then waking up to a 180 degree view from bed of the water sums it up! Hedda and her staff were helpful in every way. The Lighthouse is a perfect get-a-way and perch to soak it all in.

Great vacation at beach bungalow on Chrishi Beach

Great views and privacy from single unit studio on second floor. You have the tower to yourself. Fantastic sandy beach right outside your door with tons of shells in the water to explore - great for swimming and relaxing. Water is nice and warm with sandy bottom. Conveniently located close to sea bridge pier with shuttle boats to St. Kitts. Close to lots of other nice beaches and good places to eat (recommend Yachtsman Grill two minutes up the road). The owners Hedda and Christian were super nice and very accommodating. They have a nice loungey outdoor bar and restaurant (Chrishi Beach Club). Overall a fantastic stay on a mostly private beach. Definitely recommend.
