"My family of 14 stayed at Michael's Farmhouse over Thanksgiving break. (10 adults and 4 children (10, 7, 6 and 2). The house is dog friendly. Owner is increadibly responsive and friendly via text and VRBO messaging. House was large yet cozy. Great view of Stratton from the finished 4 season porch. Easy access off Route 100. Close to Stratton and Magic Mtn. Beautiful big family room with wood burning fireplace with large sectional. Plenty of family friendly games and some toys for younger children as well. Kitchen was well equiped to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. Every room was clean, plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable with updated linens. There is a guest house which was perfect for overflow with small kitchen and bathroom. 3rd floor was perfect for the kids with 5 beds and a bathroom. Basement with another large sectional, TV, shuffle board, etc. Michael left a lovely welcome gift as well. We would defintely like to return during ski season. Fabulous rental for a large group. "

"I stayed at here on a whim in December ‘25 on an early ski trip to Stratton & Killington, looking for a spot that wouldn’t break the bank. Got a whole lot more than I bargained for! Eggs & bacon for breakfast, super cozy cabin, great hospitality, and good recommendations. New owners Ali & Lane are hard at work investing more and more into the place and I can’t wait to go back in the summer. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an unfussy stay with rustic charm and super-welcoming owner/operators."

"Photos of the property are slightly misleading when it comes to seclusion, but if you go into it knowing that, it is everything you wanted and more! Other reviews have stated this as well so we had an idea when we got there. Beautiful property with a pond right out your back porch. So cozy and comfortable. Inside is just as it looks in the photos. Perfectly heated and ready to go hot tub for those cold nights! Cute walking bridge to the property over a little stream and winding staircase to get into the treehouse so fun, but could be difficult for someone with mobility issues. 2 heat sources, including a heat blown fireplace that will keep you as warm as can be with great ambiance! The host was attentive and helpful. Had a VERY small issue in figuring out how to work the fireplace and TV (no fault of the host) but he immediately rectified our incompetence and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, a wonderful, cozy place to stay by yourself or with a significant other! Very cute town near ski resort, just be aware that not everything is open on certain days. It’s not far from Manchester which a little bit bigger of a town with more food choices and Orvis! We would definitely go back!! "

"I was "sold" & excited when I saw the pictures online bc the barn looked really neat. Although the barn was a neat concept, the pictures ARE NOT accurate, it is not as updated as pictured & it was VERY DISAPPOINTING. I now understand the non-refundable policy bc what you see online is definitely NOT what you walked into when you opened the door & they don't want to have to give people their back. Although we had fun, the accommodations were VERY misleading & disappointing. "

"So lovely! Tucked into the beautiful green nature of Vermont. Off the beaten path but not far from shops, etc. House smelled a little funky when we arrived but property manager called me and later dropped off some supplies to help. Super responsive, very nice. And waking up seeing nothing but trees? That is bliss. Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay here again. Oh and I always like to know this prior to arrival - yes there is a coffee pot. Yes there were filters. Bring ground coffee "
