Disliked: Cleanliness
It’s lovely in the photographs, but doesn’t stand up to use nor show the leaky ceiling.
It was to be a sister‘s trip. I’m not sure where to start except that everything looks good in the photos, but the smaller room had a step down that I missed and luckily fell onto the bed because it was so close to the door. The bed was comfortable until I noticed that the ceiling fan directly above was positioned in the middle of a leak in the ceiling, making it seem that the fan was capable of falling, so I did not feel safe using it. Upon using it, I was shocked to find that the toilet rocked back-and-forth, and surprised that it didn’t leak. The towel rack on the back of the door and on the wall and the toilet paper holder had all been ripped off and thrown underneath the cabinet under the sink in the bathroom. In the kitchen, there were absolutely no hand towels to the right of the sink as described and the stove top, which was all glass, was cracked in a very large V from the front center all the way to the two far corners with cracks in between those as well. The two chairs at the counter were so wobbly we didn’t dare use them. In the other room, one of the blinds had a piece missing, which at night, would’ve allowed somebody to peek in so she blocked it with a book. But unfortunately, even though the bed was made, there was sand in the sheets. And that sinched it for us. I had driven 3 1/2 hours and was tired and my sister had flown from up north. That next morning we were packed & out of that unit by 9:30 in the morning. No response nor refund for the 2nd night.
