This little jewel was perfect for our impromptu ski trip to Mad River mountain. Super cute house with everything you could possibly need for a quick stay. We all slept very well and raved about how comfortable the beds and bedding were. As a bonus, we managed to walk to Mike's Pizza right around the corner for a quick meal on our last night before they closed. Great pizza and fantastic service.
This property is a beautifully maintained vintage 1920s/1930s home. The wood floors are beautiful. There are many unique features such as built-in cabinets and even a built-in ironing board. The town is also quite nice and a good place for walking.
This was the cutest vrbo I’ve ever seen! Every detail was perfect. Embroidery on the pillow cases, beautiful hardwood floors. Large stocked bathroom and kitchen. There was nothing we didn’t have. I will be staying again!

Very unique and quaint little home. We definitely prefer to support local businesses when we travel. I would recommend arriving in daylight, as it was easy to get turned around a bit in the dark. Definitely has an early 1900's decor vibe.
This was a cute house with lots of charm. The location was perfect for walking around downtown. The host was very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked.
This beautiful home is as clean as can be and perfectly located in the heart of West Liberty, Ohio. Roberta has thought of anything and everything that you might need for your stay. I will definitely stay here again!
This is our second stay at the bungalow and it was even better than the first time. Bobbi goes above and beyond to make everything comfortable and convenient. The place is always immaculate and everything in perfect working order. We love the simplicity of the bungalow style and it’s very quaint. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is so nice! We plan on returning again. Thanks Bobbi for hosting us.
so enjoyed this location and able to walk downtown. loved having the washer and dryer

A great place in a great little town!
Myself and 3 friends decided to book Bobbi's for our ski weekend at Mad River. Long story short, we will be returning at a future date. The house was clean, comfortable, and very accommodating. The owner was very responsive to any and all questions that we had prior to the trip and I highly recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the area.
The bungalow was cute and well set up. We were really comfortable. We saw in the future renovations that you were going to get a new couch and we agree with that recommendation. We're enjoyed our stay and especially the coffee at sweetie pie's! We have one suggestion : we had small children who cannot read the caution sign on the basement door. We recommend a lock for that. Otherwise we had a great time and we really appreciate your hospitality.
It's like staying with grandma back in the 30's. So cozy!
My daughter is the drum major for her school & they made it to playoffs which were 2 hours away from our home. And the next day she was signed up for a baton clinic at the Ohio State university first thing in the morning. We only stayed one night here but Roberta is a top knot host! She stayed on the phone and helped me locate the house because I am terrible with directions, she even came over and got the key out of the lock box for me because I couldn't get it out!! My 16 year old daughter, 8 year old son, and I really enjoyed all the period decorations!! Roberts has really paid attention to every little detail! We will definitely be back! She is a 5 star host, hands down!!

Rent with Caution
The home is quaint and small and located well by several restuarants and shops within walking distance. However, once I "booked" this on VRBO, then I got the pre-approval email from Roberta, the owner. I've rented numerous times thru VRBO and never experienced this. She wanted to know why I was coming into town. I answered, but it was definitely invasive to me but decided to keep the booking. The day before we were to arrive, Roberta wanted to meet me at the house to give me the key. She said she likes to meet all of her guests. That really was over the top for me. I wasn't interested in meeting the owner of the house. We're mature adults that had a trip planned, not a party. She reluctantly gave me a code number to the key once I explained I've rented before on VRBO and did not have this experience. This home is set up like a bed and breakfast feel without any breakfast. She wrote a nice note for our arrival and has a big book of things not to do in the house. She told me she lived 3 blocks away and after all I experienced, I assumed she would be driving by (or coming over!).Upon leaving, I was sent a bill for extra guests she assumed stayed at the house because an extra bed was used and we had more towels used than expected. I was a bit thrown by this and after having to explain more to Roberta, she deleted the bill. The home is fine, but the whole experience was WAY more rigid and intense than need be. She requires a deposit for two nights that is more 2/3 of the total cost. I would not have rented had I known I was going to have this experience. It was very uncomfortable. Note: Front door does NOT have a door knob!
We loved Bobbi's bungalow and would definitely stay here again. The home was well equipped with lovely furnishings done in a vintage style. It was clean and neat and a joy to stay in. We will be back.
We came here and stayed with our family over Labor Day weekend. Obviously it’s been a challenge finding places to stay during the pandemic in Michigan. We decided to come down to Ohio. The drive was pretty.
We were nervous because we didn’t know anything about where we were going. We’ve vacationed in Ohio many times throughout the years. Between caverns, burial mounds and the sacred lands, it’s a great state.
We were stunned to see the inside. It is perfection. The homeowner obviously is very talented and skillful. The gardens are well kept. Everything is immaculately taken care of. Restored to (or maintained) period accurate decor. We loved it.
Normally we would vacation in the woods. I’m not much for the hw City. This was a good mix.
My kids wanted to stay and move there. It was tough going home.

Loved our couple of days in this very clean and quaintly decorated house. Perfect for an anniversary get-away. We liked the close access to the Cedar Bog, and not-too-distant Clifton Gorge, beautiful nature reserves!
This house was like going to grandma's for the week. All the historical correct atmosphere made is so welcoming. We walked downtown for breakfast, ice cream, window shopping and just felt the comfort of the 50's. When I go back I will be staying with Bobbie's Bungalow.
