Highly recommend this property We’ve been staying in cabins in this area for years One of the best. Getting up the driveway can be difficult without 4WD and address on driveway a little confusing especially if arriving late Wonderful place and good location to West Jefferson. Will go back

Peaceful weekend
The home was beautiful and well equipped with everything needed. It was nestled in a quiet area of trees while at the same time It is located very close to downtown West Jefferson so we attended an antique festival. We will recommend to others and keep it on our go to list for future getaways. Thank you!

Wonderful stay at the cabin. It was so well stocked, everything we could possibly have wanted. Porch was great for morning coffee and afternoon wine. My son loved the play room and the Roku set up. We'll definitely be back

Everything was just as listed -very well equipped- nice location except trees block most of view - we have all wheel drive so road was not a problem for us - also, we are all over “80” so the 3 level stairs was a “little “ problem for us.

Perfect cabin
We had a great weekend in this cozy cabin. Lots of space and all the amenities. We loved sitting on the deck and enjoying the fresh mountain air. Very close to West Jefferson while it seemed far away from anything.

Beautiful Home
This property is beautifully decorated and is completely stocked with everything you can imagine including kitchen items, games and movies. It is very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed cooking steaks on the gas grill. This house is nestled in the woods so if you like seclusion you will love this place. If you go in the Winter a 4 wheel drive would be a must.

The house is amazing! Beautiful, clean, well stocked kitchen. We arrived at night and in the dark the final 200ft or so were not well marked. Also final 200ft is gravel rd. Recommend arriving in daylight. Otherwise it was a wonderful stay. Would definitely come back!

The property was perfect, the drive to it, not so much. A few signs on the road in would improve finding the cabin faster. If you don't like climbing twisting gravel roads. This location is NOT for you. The cabin was clean and as advertised and I would stay there again.

The house was so nice! Very clean, beds were very comfortable, kitchen stocked with nice dishes, appliances, "tools". Everything you could ask for. It was perfect for our group and we will definitely be coming back!

The property is superb with spectacular views. The cabin is very spacious and well appointed. It contains every imaginable necessity with ample sitting and lounging areas. Great for families with children. The only issue was getting used to the drive up Graystone. After a few days it seemed easier however at first it was intimidating. We used 4 wheel drive in July. Can’t imagine during the winter. Overall, a definite 5 star experience.

Perfect Getaway
Clean, spotless and perfect! We found the house exactly as described. Great location just a mile and a half from downtown W Jefferson and 30 minutes to downtown Boone. House has a great layout with 2 dens on separate floors and 3 1/2 baths. Will be back with the kids.

A amazing getaway cabin
My family went here for the holidays and it was lovely, first off I recommend this cabin for anyone. It has all you need for a perfect vacation, entertainment, peace and quiet, and the amazing Mountain View’s on-top. So I recommend this cabin for anybody and it’s a great way to have a good time with your family and friends.

Buck Mountain Stay
The house is absolutely beautiful and accomodating. Great location minutes from everything you could want. I have stayed in this area several times over the past few years and this house has the best location but the driveway is steep but that should be expected in this terrain. I had my Suburban with 6 adults and all our gear and it was fine and never used 4 wheel drive. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants privacy and access to local amenities easily. Chipmunks and deer frequent the property as do many birds. Fishing is not far as well or kayaking if you want some water fun. If you're with a group the three bathrooms are great and two showers make things go nicely. The Internet works good and the stay was most pleasant !

Weekend getaway
Nice property, but you can hear every time some one moved across the floor above, door open, etc. Made it hard not to disturb others in the house in middle of the night or early morning. Also, the layout is a bit cumbersome for socializing. The kitchen is on the lowest level and access to porch and sitting area on second floor. Having to go back and forth between the two floors to get drinks, etc. was a bit inconvenient. Great location to local attractions and West Jefferson.

Wonderful getaway in the NC Mountains
We enjoyed our stay in W. Jefferson immensely. The house was lovely and had so many amenities that made our stay pleasurable. We enjoyed making s'mores by the firepit in the evenings with our kids and then sitting in the comfortable main living room by the fireplace before bedtime. We were able to go hiking, ziplining and horseback riding all around the high country while using the house as a basecamp and had a great time exploring the area. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Great House
The property itself was very good and we really enjoyed staying there. One of the issues we had was not having an all wheel drive vehicle. The house is situated at the top of an all gravel road, and we did not feel comfortable parking down at the house level as we didn't think we'd be able to get out. We turned around and parked at the end of the driveway. The short road going up to the house was also a little scary at certain points. Overall though, we thoroughly enjoyed staying there and the location is excellent.

Loved having a clean, roomy, and relaxed place to spend a weekend. The only thing I had a hard time with is finding it. The road was very tight to drive. When we got there it was raining and dark and the GPS said we was there. And we wasnt there at all. But the house and property was relaxing and beautiful and the s'mores that we had at the campfire was amazing

Such an awesome cabin!
I absolutely loved this cabin! It’s so cozy and perfect! I felt right at home! The location wasn’t too far from Boone which is where we did most of our activities and the neighborhood was easy to find. There is a walmart, ingles (grocery store) and gas stations located minutes away from the cabin for your convenience. The cabin is also so beautiful! Overall, we had a great stay! :)

Just what we needed
The nicely appointed cabin was perfect for a relaxing weekend. The beds were comfortable, and the porch was perfect! We saw deer early Saturday morning in the yard. The sounds of nature filled our ears and took away the cacophony of business. I would definitely go again!
