After a day full of adventure, pull up to your stay where you'll instantly take notice of the sweet hydrangea blooms nestled alongside the cottage.
Inside your renovated retreat, the sunroom offers ample seating and a large TV. Additional comfortable seating is available in the living room. Both of the bedrooms are sizable and kept cool thanks to the cottage's central air-conditioning.
As the sun begins to set over another day, head outside and gather in the large yard with your loved ones as you watch the yellow, pink, and orange hues of the sunset fill the sky.

Nice Getaway
This cottage was quiet and relaxing. We were able to cook great meals in the kitchen and eat indoors or outdoors. The yard was great for kids to run around and play. It was close to many restaurant, stores, and beaches. It was very quiet and peaceful especially at night.

Lovely mid Cape cottage near beaches, restaurants, & shopping on a quiet road. Private backyard, very clean and updated. Lots of common space plus 2 large private bedrooms and a sleeper couch. Stayed with my son, daughter in law and 9 month old granddaughter. Was perfect for our family.
Quiet neighborhood and convenient location to beaches/attractions/towns in Cape Cod. The kitchen and bathroom have been recently renovated with new appliances and all windows are new. It would be helpful to add curtains/blinds to rooms outside of the master bedroom and bathroom.

Quiet
It was very quiet. It needs newer furniture and definitely window coverings. If that was done I would probably stay again. As it was i probably would not stay there again.
Furniture needs updating, house needs window coverings, and lawn needed to be mowed and outdoor furniture cleaned

Pretty ok place to end our days on the cape
The house was very clean. When we got there we did notice that the front door and basement door outside were both unlocked which was a little concerning. We checked the whole house thoroughly and thankfully there was no one lurking inside. The house also smelled really damp which was noticeable each time we entered. Other than that though, our stay was enjoyable. Everything in the kitchen, including cooking tools and utensils was brand new.

Great location, good house, some odd notes
Very quiet peaceful neighborhood close to a lot of Harwich, kitchen well-equipped, house clean, yard and outdoors cute.
Seems like the house is mid-renovation and this led to some odd touches - a new-looking porch is well-lit but filled with outdoor wicker furniture that was uncomfortable (and this is where the tv was located), and adding the porch made the main living space extremely dark. Adding to that is a bunch of the light switches didn't turn anything on, and there were only a few lamps here and there - no overhead light in either the main living room or the main bedroom. In the main bedroom even in the middle of the day I had to use my phone flashlight to find my clothes in my suitcase (all dark wood paneling, two small windows). The upstairs is only a bedroom and the teens kept hitting their head on the funny slant. The fridge was also tiny - it was ok since we were only there for three days but if we had brought a week's worth of food we would have been in trouble.
We had a nice stay and imagine the lighting issues will be fixed over time, but just wanted to let other renters know those attributes to weigh their decision.
The house was clean, the location great (very peaceful neighborhood, close to lots to do in Harwich), the kitchen was well stocked, had a nice yard, and all promised amenities were present. There were a few odd notes though which means I'd probably not stay here again - though the house seems partway through a renovation and these things might change. It looks like they added an interior porch, which is where the tv is, but the furniture is all outdoor wicker and uncomfortable. Adding that means that the other living room space (which DOES have comfortable furniture) is very, very dark (dark wood paneling, two small windows) - and most of the house was missing overhead lighting? And the existing lamps didn't cut it. A lot of the electrical sockets were taped over and some of the light switches didn't affect anything. So it was hard to gather or for multiple people to read at night. I had to use my phone's flashlight to find my clothes in the main bedroom (one tiny lamp), for instance, during the day! The door to the main bedroom was also of an odd material that made a terrible screech/bang in the night when going to use the restroom that woke everyone up. The other bedroom is the only space upstairs and has an odd slant that our teens repeatedly banged their head on.We still had a nice stay, but not sure we'd return unless the rates were a lot lower than houses without these issues. And some of them may resolve over time!
