It was a classic Austrian Gasthof/hotel, with a bar and restaurant downstairs. The food was excellent. Parking seemed tight, until we realized there was more along the street. The photo on Travelocity’s website doesn’t do it justice. It was very nice. Breakfast was €15, but generous.

Great place!

Enjoyed my night at this quaint, family owned guesthouse. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean and comfortable bed with a gorgeous view! I had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious. The service was also very good. The on-site parking was perfect. Werfen is a adorable town and everything is within walking distance, including the Sound of Music trail which was absolutely stunning!

Hôtel très bien placé pour visiter Eisriesenwelt et reprendre la route. Accueil pas très chaleureux de la part d’une des serveuses au restaurant mais bien compensé par celui d’une autre. Par contre, difficile de communiquer en anglais avec eux. Nous n’avons pas très bien dormi car les sirènes de la ville ont résonné à 1h du matin. Nous nous sommes inquiétés pour rien…

Das Haus liegt sehr nahe am Ortskern, es wurde in den letzten Jahren renoviert. Unser Zimmer, eines der zwei mit Balkon, war geräumig, ebenso das Bad. Alles bequem und in Ordnung. Parken neben dem Haus auf Hotel-eigenen Parkplätzen. Frühstück trotz Corona-Beschränkungen mehr als ausreichend und vielfältig. Familiärer Service.
