"I arrived for my reservation, made through Hotels.com, at 10:30 pm. There was no one at the front desk and no one answered when I called the posted phone number. The email confirmation stated the front desk was open until midnight but it was clearly closed for the night. I called hotels.com for assistance but there was nothing they could do to contact the hotel. I was unable to check in for my reservation, was assured by Hotels.com that i would not be charged, and had to scramble to find an alternate accommodation for the night. I was in fact charged for my stay. Calls to the hotel and to hotels.com requesting a refund - as I was unable to check in despite arriving during the posted hours - have not been successful. I do not recommend staying at this hotel as there is no guarantee you will actually have access to your room. I also don’t recommend booking on hotels.com as they cannot make any assurances of a stay or honor their word to ensure I wouldn’t be charged for a stay that never happened."

"We planned a last minute trip and there were hardly any choices of homes left, so I picked this one, and it was absolutely spectacular! We have rented vacation homes many times over the years, and this house, the view, was so beautiful, and accommodating, it really impressed me how clean and well kept, someone obviously loves their home and takes much pride in it. We cannot wait to book another stay, what a perfect vacation "
