Create lasting memories in this 4 bed, 1.5 bath home with mountain views just 15 minutes from Wellsboro, PA. Pine Creek winds its way through the back yard and is a great spot for fishing as well as the pond which is stocked with bass, blue gill, and sunnies (all pond fishing is catch and release). Enjoy a picnic in the new pavilion and roast marshmallows over the fire.

This home has queen bed in each room as well as additional sleeping quarters on the sofa bed in the living room, making space for a total of 10 people. There are 2 bedrooms on the main floor (upstairs) as well as a kitchen and dining area and a living area with a Smart TV. The full bath is also on the main floor. Downstairs you will find the game room, complete with a pool table. Two additional bedrooms and the half bath (toilet and sink) are on this floor.

There are 4 AC units installed in this home. Each bedroom upstairs as well as 2 in the basement windows.

Guests have full access to the whole house as well as outdoor spaces.

This family getaway in north-central Pennsylvania is perfect for those looking to explore nature at its finest! Located 15 minutes from Historic Wellsboro and Colton Point State Park, adventure awaits! Ride the Pine Creek Rail Trail, hike the awe-inspiring PA Grand Canyon, and fish in Pine Creek. Or stay right on the property and experience the pleasures of fishing on Marsh Creek with convenience. Enjoy covered wagon rides just minutes away! This area is know for stargazing. Check out Cherry Springs State Park (35 miles away). It is recognized as one of the "nations finest stargazing spots".
Children must be accompanied by adults at all times. Creek is close to house.

Great, private getaway near Wellsboro and the Grand Canyon of PA!
We stayed at the Misty Mountain Cottage during our annual family getaway between Christmas and New Years. The house was spacious, with tons of land, a fire pit, and a great covered area outside. It's close to Wellsboro and a short drive to Pine Creek Gorge (aka the Grand Canyon of PA). It comes fully stocked with kitchen supplies, so you can cook and grill your meals as needed. Highly recommended from all of us!

Very Comfortable and Cozy
My husband and my adult daughters were there to visit the PA Grand Canyon and this was a very comfortable and cozy home. Very clean and had everything we needed. Good communication with the owner the entire time. Definitely recommend to stay here. A very nice family getaway.

This space worked perfectly for a group of friends in town for a wedding. The house was easy to find and plenty of parking for everyone. There were some moths and centipedes in the house, but slightly expected that with the location you were at. Overall a beautiful house and perfect for our group.

This property worked out very well for our family of 10. The property had plenty of space, more than enough towels, blankets and kitchen and bath items provided. Our favorite part - the privacy of the property, the abundance of land and the views. The views of the mountains were the cherry on top of this getaway.

good views, beaver and some small mouth in the creek out back but serenity gets interrupted every 15 minutes with noisy water trucks speeding up and down the 6. regular cars go by without much noise, but those things get annoying. people need to make a living but be prepared if sleeping upstairs because it starts in the wee hours and goes late into the night. pool table and air hockey are unusable unless you appreciate the challenge of playing on a crooked surface but nice table upstairs for cards and nice pavilion for eating outside. ac doesn't work so great if going in the heat of the summer. beds are adequate but recommend bringing your own sheets or sleeping bag. convenient location for hiking and fishing. not terrible but if you're trying to escape the noise of a more Urban area, this is not the place

An older home with some very nice facelifts, very clean, with plenty of extras and so close to PA Grand Canyon...Loved the property! The property manager was very helpul and quick to respond when the hot water heater pilot light was out. Definitely would consider staying here again.

Loved the area. The property was clean and had all we the amenities we needed for our short stay. The beautiful view from the decks and yard, especially during the fall season. All the shops, restaurants, grocery store, gas, and PA Grand Canyon parks and trails were within 20 minutes from the property. Would book again if we would decide to visit the area again :)
