Immerse yourself in nature at `Primrose`, designed for nature lovers looking to experience peacefulness and serenity in-between the Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake areas of KY. The complete window wall on both sides of the cabin will allow you to fully be at one with the nature surrounding you. Or close the curtains for ultimate privacy! Slide into the bubbly hot-tub and forget all your worries! Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake are approximately 45+ minutes from this very secluded property.

- Please Note: 4WD is HIGHLY recommended. Primrose is located up a long and steep gravel driveway. Please review drone pictures of the driveway to determine if this is doable for your vehicle. Limited parking.
- Very secluded location between Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake. Close to a multitude of adventuring opportunities such as hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, ziplining, boat tours and more! Natural Bridge State Park in Red River Gorge and Cave Run Lake in Morehead, KY are both approximately 45 minutes away.
- Please contact us as soon as possible if you must cancel or reschedule your stay. No refunds or date modifications within 14 days or less of your arrival.
- No refunds are permitted due to weather. No exceptions. Winter weather (snow/ice) and flooding can occur in our area. You should be given the option to add Trip Insurance at booking check-out.
- Please be aware that no refunds are permitted for cancellations on holiday rates, which includes but is not limited to, New Year’s, Valentine`s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

The Primrose is a little out of the way, but definitely worth it. Warning to renters the driveway is pretty steep but other than that the location is great. Very quiet, very private, and completely lined with windows. It was nice to only be about 35 minutes from Natural Bridge and not deal with any of the tourist traffic

Nice secluded property

We enjoyed our stay. Property seems like it was VERY new and modern. Just what we wanted. It is tucked up a long drive and is very private between peaks of the hills. This place was perfect for our extended weekend stay. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Cabin!

10/10 Recommend. This cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway! The cabin itself was clean and modern yet cozy - the floor to ceiling windows provide amazing views. It comes fully equipped with everything you need to grill out or make dinner inside, plus a hot tub + fire pit to enjoy the evening. We'd definitely go back! Side note: the driveway is a bit steep and I would recommend driving something that has all-wheel or 4-wheel drive in case you need a little extra pep to get up the hill.

Awesome Property!

What a great weekend! Thank you for sharing your wonderful property with us. It was my husband's birthday, and we were looking for some quiet time after a crazy few weeks. This property was perfect. We loved everything about it. We even did a little hiking at Broke Leg Falls and Devil's Market House Arch. Both are must sees and only a few miles from the house.

Private Cabin

What you see in the pictures is what you get at the cabin! This is a really cute little cabin that has everything you need for a simple getaway that is close to tons of outdoor activities. This would be a great romantic getaway location as well for a couple. The front of the cabin has a small bit of visibility to the road and a neighbor, but the sides and back of the cabin are completely private and very quiet. I will be back to this cabin again!!

Amazing space!!

My husband and I had a lovely long weekend here! The space is incredibly restful. The natural light from the windows makes the whole space so pleasant. The bed was very comfortable and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We definitely enjoyed the hot tub while we were there as well! We were in contact with maintenance while we were there regarding the Wi-Fi and they were very polite and helpful. We brought all our own food and due to a road closure because of historic flooding not long before we came, we had to take a longer way in and didn’t have any close groceries or gas so I was so glad I had brought what we needed. If the road had been open, groceries and a few restaurant options would have been somewhat closer, but still, this was a secluded cabin which is exactly what we wanted. We’d love to come back!!

Great Couples Getaway

This was a perfect spot for a quick weekend getaway. Tucked away in the trees gave us privacy and a real sense of being in nature. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals with. Everyone brings up the driveway which can people intimidating for someone who doesn't have 4wd or has like a really nice car they don't want to mess up. I have neither of those things and made it up no issue. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a cozy getaway with their partner.

Home away from home.

This was a birthday get away for my wife. We have traveled and stayed all over the country. From luxury cabins to lake houses. This place takes the cake. I have never felt more at home anywhere. Typically by the time our weekend is over I am ready to get home. Not this trip. I could live here happily! The host checked in multiple times through out the weekend. Very kind and generous. This is a stay we will certainly return back to! Thank you for a memorable trip......

Private getaway

Great clean place with everything you need short of personal items. Private and beautiful. Nicely laid out... The deck is incredible. We enjoyed it so much we plan on staying again. Away from the park a little bit but fun drive and beautiful scenery to and from -- also decent grocery shopping close by -- Dollar General is 5 min away and there's an IGA about 20 min away As the listing reads -- 4x4 or AWD is suggested. No low sports cars will make it up the driveway -- motorcycle would be challenging also.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay here. The hot tub and cabin were both very clean and the check in and out processes were very easy. For any future guests, make sure you use the geopin the host provides to find the cabin. We were very grateful that we had it! Also, be aware that the driveway is long, steep, and gravel. Not an issue for most vehicles, but I could see certain cars struggling with slipping on the gravel more than we did. We didn’t have any wifi during our stay, which didn’t bother us, but cell reception is poor (as we expected it would be), so other guests may have been bothered by the lack of wifi. I’m sure the host would have helped get the wifi working if we had said anything, but we were fine without. Overall, the cabin lives up to its pictures and description. It was exactly what we were looking for. A clean, safe, comfortable cabin. Thank you!!!

Just what the doctor ordered!

This property was nothing short of extraordinary. The breathtaking view from the cabin was absolutely mesmerizing, offering a picturesque panorama that left me in awe. The staff's level of assistance was outstanding, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They were attentive, responsive, and truly made me feel welcome. The cabin itself was a haven of comfort and convenience. It was thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities one could need, making it feel like a home away from home. The highlight, undoubtedly, was the view but also the fantastic hot tub. Tucked away in a romantic and secluded corner, it provided the perfect setting for relaxation and intimacy. The best little unique, romantic cabin

This was a beautifully done unique cabin in a private spot in the woods. We absolutely loved the floor to ceiling windows giving us a 360 view of the surrounding woods. No need to worry about shutting the curtains, there is only one house in sight and it is plenty far away. We enjoyed watching movies on the large tv, sitting in the hot tub, and relaxing by the fire. The cabin was exactly as described with a waterfall 5 minutes away and a couple small places to eat and dollar general within 15 minutes. If you’re an adventurer The Gorge Underground kayaking tour is a must! It is 40 minutes from the cabin and is 5 minutes from the Natural Bridge State Park and Skylift. Miguel’s pizza has great food and atmosphere, just beware that most restaurants in the area are closed Mon-Wed. When they say you need FWD they mean it. The gravel driveway is VERY steep and your tires will spin if you don’t get enough momentum. We found the sweet spot to turn our truck around at the top but it was definitely interesting. If I had one recommendation it would just be to add a hair dryer in the bathroom.
