"We got exactly what we wanted. A room with a beautiful view of the River and Bolt castle. The resort was very clean and well staffed. The only problem we had was timing. We got there a week late. Everyone had left and nothing was open. Maybe next year we will visit the castle. Alex bay is a ghost town after October 15."

"Great place for our 7 day vacation. Perfect location. We appreciated the cleanliness and spacious rooms. The dock had plenty of room for our 2 boats. My husband and grandkids enjoyed fishing from the row boat that was available at the house. The host and property manager were quick with a response to my questions and anything we needed. I highly recommend this property for your family vacation.I'm hoping to be back again next vacation, Aggie S."
