The room was small but just right. Clean & Comfortable! In a nice area and the manatees were right there!! The use of kayaks was fantastic! Will stay again.
My parents were camping around the corner at Mary’s Fish Camp, so we just needed somewhere close to stay. This was the perfect location as it was right around the corner. Was very clean and property manager was great with communication. We hope to come back here and would book this again!
We stayed in the Salty Siren for two nights. We absolutely loved the place. It was a beautiful location, right on the river, so peaceful and relaxing. It was also so convenient to all the nearby sightseeing spots. The room was so adorable! I loved the decor. The room was clean, the bed was nice and he kitchenette had everything we needed. We took advantage of the complementary kayaks, enjoyed sitting by the river and exploring. We hope to be back.
We loved thr countertop snd floor. Loved that it was very clean snd decorations cute. Also loved the easy access to othet location. Loved seeing the manaties. Pstking less than convirnrnt.
We love old FL hotels and lodging and this was perfect. Great location while we went to adult mermaid camp at Weeki Wachee! Very nice little beach with beach toys if you’re visiting with kids. Salty Siren room was perfectly comfortable for two adults for two nights. Only critiques are cutlery/coffee supplies could be out on a shelf, and the floor tilts significantly from the front door to the back of the bathroom, so people who are unsteady on their feet might have trouble.
I stopped over in Weeki Wachee as part of a birthday getaway with friends. The Salty Siren was just perfect for what we needed it for, a place to rest our heads at night. It was quaint and adorable and we enjoyed everything about the theme. We used the kayaks each day of our trip and it was so much fun. We didn't see manatees but also knew there would be a higher chance had we visited earlier in the year when it was still chilly out. We used the little bonfire set up and it was perfect. Also enjoyed reading on the mini beachy area.
Giving thr History of this quaint property I found it Fascinating. It's History was amazing!
I love Old Florida, and moving from Pennsylvania I want to capture all of Old Florida. The binder in our unit explained the history of the property. I LOVED THAT! Most people may NOT appreciate the slooping floors upon arrival, or the Kitchenette supplies. Yet, being so cloae to the State Park, the cost of seeing the Mermaids, the Springs are beautiful, the Water Park is Grand. Why wouldn't you want to step back in time and have a great experience of what OLD FLORIDA was back then. A MUST DO EXPERIENCE! Not to mention taking care of the Hurricane victims of Hernado Beach Locals. That was the BEST PART of our visit!
Beautiful property, perfect location, was perfect for my boyfriend and I for a couple nights, we saw dolphins just up the river while kayaking, couldn’t recommend more!
We stayed in the Salty Siren room, it is small, but it was perfect for my husband and I. I absolutely loved the decorations in the room and across the property. Jason and Andrea were very quick to respond to messages and are very welcoming. We will definitely be back!
My son and I came to the Weeiki Wachee to kayak and visit my family. This was the perfect stay for us. It was our first time kayaking, so we took guided trip. My family will be back to venture out on our own.
We picked this spot because it is right on the water and we love to be that close. We were able to see some manatees on our last day which is always exciting to me.
The owners Jason and Andrea were very nice and easy to talk to. They responded to questions when sent and even on site doing more renovations.
The studio was just the right size for my husband and I and even our 2month old grandbaby was able to stay the nights with us.
Thanks to Jason and Andrea for having such a quaint and cute place to stay without breaking the bank.
We will be back for sure.
We enjoyed our stay very much. I love to see a little old place like this all fixed up nice and with such great decor. We loved the sandy beach area as well as the little peninsula out back for watching the moon. John was great and his directions to Little Salt Spring were much appreciated. A beautiful little paddle. There are several good restaurants around such as our favorite the Silver Dolphin. Great dinner, great drinks and drink specials. Great breakfast as well. Beautiful outdoor garden atmosphere. Baypoint had a great view and good live music. A short drive to Pine Island or Baypoint pier or just Baypoint road to enjoy the amazing Gulf of México sunsets. We will certainly plan to return to Neptune’s Grotto.

Enjoyed the beach
We stayed in the “Salty Siren” room. This is a motel style place, which is difficult to tell from the photos. Property is located very close to road, so we heard road noise at night. If I went back I would stay in “Sirendipity” room. It is farther from the road. We enjoyed the “beach” and the kayaks provided free of charge. Bring bug spray as the knats were terrible. These amenities were the saving grace, because the room was not to my cleanliness standards.
