North Sand Lake is a 1000 acre lake that is crystal clear, it's a great recreation lake for swimming, fishing, tubing and other water activities. We are located 20 miles northeast of Siren.
The Neighborhood: Resort communities of Voyager Village, Siren, Spooner, Webb Lake and Hayward are short drives and offer many activities including golf, shopping, casino, restaurants and more.
We love to eat at What the Heck for pizza in Spooner, Zia's Pizza in Webster, The Still Bar and Grill in Spooner and McKenzie Landing on Big McKenzie Lake. Voyager Village has a beautiful 18 hole golf course and Par 3 course. There is an airstrip there and it's a great place to go have breakfast and watch the airplanes fly in as well. They have a delicious restaurant also. Fox Run Golf in Webster is also a nice course. Jo Mamas has a good breakfast In Spooner.
The closest grocery store is when you drive through Webster it's 10 miles away so be sure to stop there for any last minute items, they carry everything.
There is also a casino In Danbury.

Not much of beach, could be high water level. Beach was covered in snails. There was supposed to be a rake but none found. House was very comfy. Enjoyed the loon calls. Lake was good for kayaking.
Could have used a rail down to lake for my limited mobility. Kitchen could use a few prep knives, only 3 little mini knives. Otherwise kitchen well stocked.Weather was perfect.would recommend this property.
Our family of 4 had a very good stay at this cabin. The cabin itself was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The property/location is nice and quiet with excellent sunset views. Communication with the host was easy and they were accessible if needed. Although the beach was sandy, there were a lot of weeds off the shore and dock that kept our kids from swimming on the property. We were able to boat into the main lake, which is very clear, to go swimming. That said, there is no public beach on the lake so we swam off the boat out away from shore. All things considered, we had a very good time and the only thing keeping it from 5 stars was lack of clean/clear swimming area on the property.
Our group travels all over the US for work and staying in hotels just gets tiring, so we were very happy we found this little gem near our areas to be in. The place was very clean, great spot to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. Management was very helpful and answered us very quickly if we had any needs. Great place for us and am sure for others i the future.
My husband and I had a very nice vacation for a week at Sand Lake in Wisconsin. We had a very nice cabin that was well supplied and clean with beautiful surroundings. My husband and I caught many fish after renting a boat from the Main Store. The loons were amazing! The lake provided beautiful sunsets and wildlife surroundings. We managed to get some beautiful pictures. We hope to come back next year!
This was exactly what we were looking for! Cabin was the perfect size for our small family (2 adults, 2 kids) and was clean & easy to maintain. The property is the perfect size and is quiet and private. The beach was beautiful with soft sand and beautiful wild plants & flowers. The fire pit area was perfect, as was the cute, screened in porch. Located on a lovely, peaceful bay with almost no boat traffic while we were there. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a convenient, private and cozy getaway for either the family or as a couple.
We enjoyed our relaxing time visiting Sand Lake. We loved the beautiful sunsets, lounging in the lake, visiting The Crow Bar, The Sand Bar, and sitting by the campfire!( Bring your own lighter or matches though because although we brought our own firewood, we didn’t think to bring anything to light it with and there was nothing in the cabin). Nice place, and easy drive for our getaway!
