This was a great place for me and four of my friends when we came to the Webster area to do some ice fishing. The property is well maintained, and check in/check out was a breeze. Highly recommend!
This is a great property for a fishing trip. We were able to access the lake from a private boat ramp in the development. The cabin was nice, clean and had everything we needed. The garage converted to a man cave was perfect for drying out our frozen gear. I would recommend it to others.
We hunted ducks in the area for 5 days. The house was nicely decorated in an outdoorsy theme. The mancave/garage area was amazing for hanging out after the hunt with the group and hunting dogs. I would go back again if i am hunting the area
Property is everything the VRBO description said it would be. Very close to all the good lakes. Plenty of space to park our trucks & boats. And the house was so comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed ourselves. The ONLY draw back is that you have to drive on about 4 miles of very bumpy gravel roads that is hard on our trucks and very hard on our fiberglass boats/trailers. But we will be back.
The bad. When we arrived at the house someone else was in our half of the cabin. Tried calling and no response. We ended up getting into the other half of the cabin. I texted later in the night and it turns out the other group overstayed and was in the wrong side of the cabin. Not sure who’s fault that was.
The good. The cabin however was amazing. More than enough room for our group of six. The man cave was a huge bonus as we were able to dry stuff off and have a place where we could all hang out. Extra fridge in the garage was nice for food and drinks. Property was in a great location. We stayed in the winter and were able to get onto Waubay without driving anywhere.
The property is well maintained/decorated and provided all the comforts of ones own home. It was easy to find and within reasonable distance of town. Excellent house to use for our recreational needs.
We travel to the Glacier Lakes area multiple times a year and for 20 years now. This is the best place we have stayed. Perfect setup for fishing or hunting groups, and families too. Great accondations, immaculate conditions, and well stocked with everything you could ask for in a vacation/sporting home. We will state here again.
We rented the twin home for sleeping space due to a family reunion on nearby Enemy Swim Lake. The Wi-Fi worked great. The man caves were wonderful for late night card playing without disturbing those sleeping. The property and grill could use a good deep cleaning. The refrigerator in the south side needs to be replaced. It would be helpful in the future to let renters know if the owner plans to stop by frequently (twice that we know of during our six day stay) and unannounced, especially if he chooses to remove items from the property when he does so.
