"The building is very run down and has a strong smell like garbage. The place looks very little like the photos and is frankly depressing. I ended up booking some place else and paying two rooms. You can find decent hotels for the same price in the neighbourhood. I really don’t recommend staying there."

"The accommodation was clean, spacious, and fully equipped. The beds were good and clean. The city center is within walking distance, and there are an incredible number of restaurants and shops on the street.The only downside was the deafening noise from the bar next door, especially on Friday night, which went on until the early hours."

"This is a great spot in Lille - perfect for friends or a couple (although stairs to the flat or to second bedroom not great for mobility issues). Was comfortable and in a great location for exploring Lille, and easy access by metro to train stations etc. Good communication with rental company/local manger originally (had to ask for Wi-Fi as no info in flat); only downside was poor communication after (we asked if we could check out at 11am instead of 10am and had no reply)."

"The actual room is fine. The neighborhood is good. But I had an awful 2 nights of sleep here. The street lights bleed through because although the curtains are blackout they aren't fitted close to the window so the street light bleeds in on the sides. I put some pillows against one window to have the curtain work to block the light. They definitely need a way to make blackout curtains work.The Sheets were super rough. For that price point one expects and deserves nicer sheets. There was a heat...

"This was our final stay after a month in France and six different VRBO's. The appartment was spacious with two upstairs bedrooms and two showers, which was nice. The toilet was on the main floor, outside the appartment (between the exterior door to the building and the appartment door). It was not in a great part of town and the appartment was not terribly clean. "
