"Everything lived up to the description. Kitchen very well stocked with pans, cutlery and dishes. I appreciated some options for storage since those are often lacking in rental properties. I also appreciated the shampoo etc in the bathrooms. The best part is the deck and creek. I really appreciated that the porch is gated at both ends so I didn’t have to worry about my dog running off. "We really enjoyed our stay and the kids loved the backyard area. The firepit was probably our favorite spot at the house. The owner was easy to get in contact with and responded promptly to a couple questions we had. Make sure you write down the door code before you get to the house. We didn’t and one of us had to drive down until we had phone service so we could pull up VRBO and access our reservation."

"I rented this property for the week of Thanksgiving. The house was such a wonderful space for a family gathering. It was a great area for my dogs as well. All questions were quickly answered. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone that wants a beautiful getaway with easy access to Waynesville, Asheville, and Black Mountain."

"The room was a nice size with 2 glider chairs, a desk and queen bed and room to move around!! The breakfast was delicious and very filling. The grounds with a mountain view were great for sitting and relaxing, in the morning we were lucky to see a ground hog sitting up in the yard. Brenda and Peter were the perfect hosts with being there if you needed anything. "
