Star-view suite at Comfort Cove has a private top floor deck and beautiful lake front views to enjoy all four seasons!

If your group is more than 4-6 , or you just want to spread out, check out our downstairs Lily Pad (Property ID 2559241). The unit with the screened in porch and wood dock is private and reserved currently.

Lovely place

We had a wonderful stay. Checkin was super easy and the apartment was clean and cool.The neighborhood is great, lake quiet, and you can't hear any of the other neighbors.If you are looking for a relaxing stay, this is the place.Jakes bar next door is great for drinks, and the Waymart Deli is perfect for lunch.Jonathan was easy to deal with and very responsive. I would stay here again without issue.

The house was a nice place for our little family with my only concern being the place smelled like whatever was being cooked in the house below us at dinner time. Otherwise it was comfortable and clean and a relaxing stay after skiing at Elk Mountain.

Fantastic spot on the lake with great views and a nice yard to spread out for a picnic. We used the firepit and table and had a lovely evening. Swam in the public spot (short walk around the cove) and had a drink at Jake's nextdoor. Wull conrinue to book.

Excellent property and location

Our stay was great! Many great things to see around the area like Jim Thorpe and Bushkill Falls just to name a few. The lake was so clean and peaceful! The owners provided kayaks and a canoe and I woke up to a beautiful view every morning. The tavern next door closes pretty early for a bar, so there wasn’t really a problem with noise at night. Check in and check out was super easy. We will definitely try to come back next year!

Memory Lane

Revisited Elk Lake for the first time since the 1960s. Lovely lake. The upstairs unit was great. Wonderful covered porch with view of lake. Spent two days exploring Carbondale, Waymart and Honesdale where my father, grandmother and great grandparents lived. Found most of their gravesites as well.

Labor Day getaway

The property is very cute and the lake is so tranquil and peaceful. View from the deck is obscured by trees, but not a problem. As allergy sufferers I would recommend cleaning the ac units more frequently and replacing the shower curtain liner. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate your property. As

Nice cozy little place on the lake

Nice weekend getaway to get some quietness. This place would be really nice in the beginning of the fall in which it's still warm and vacation time period is not as busy. Owners was very helpful and always picked up the phone. We had a miss communication with the fire stick, but they quickly rectify the issue within hours and apologies for any inconvenience. These are the type of owners you always want to rent from. Local pizza place was really good.

Great setup

Great place to be for a ski weekend at Elk Mountain. Several local restaurants to chose from within a 10 minute drive, plus Jakes right next door. Same for grocery store, Dollar General, gas stations, and beer/wine/liquor store. About 25 minutes to Elk Mountain or to mainstream restaurants/stores. Had about 4-5 inch snow overnight and the drive/walk was cleared in the morning.

Beautiful respite

We all enjoyed our stay. The view was wonderful. The deck was a perfect spot to hang out and read, play games or just chat. The kayaks were a great addition and we used them several times during our stay.Jon was very responsive to my questions as I didn't receive my notice from VRBO for some odd reason. The only suggestion I have is it may be easier if there was a binder with all information available in the unit. That way guests can look and see where to find garbage cans, what is expected of them etc. I think that would be easier on them as well. Thanks again Jon and Beth for being great hosts!
