"Hubby and I have stayed at several rentals over the years. We have very high standards and this one checked ALL our boxes:- great location/amenities- close to shopping, restaurants, etc.- extremely neat and clean- phenomenal outdoor deck/seating/view- excellent checkin/checkout/resource info- owner is extremely responsiveAlso, we loved that it was located on the sound side of the island because it was not as windy.The icing on the cake? This was our first trip to the Outer Banks. On our last day here, we were discussing the movie "Nights in Rodanthe" which was filmed locally. We joked to each other asking what are the odds this this movie is part of the rental's DVD collection. Lo and behold it was! So not only were we able to watch it for the first time on our last night here, we also drove by the property before leaving town. So cool!Mike's thoughtfulness in his choice of DVD's resulted in an Outer Banks memory that we'll cherish forever. :) We highly recommend this property!"

"The floors were dirty, our feet were black within 30 minutes. There are pee marks on the carpet. It needs to be listed as Oceanfront BUT CANT SEE THE BEACH!"

"House and property were clean and well maintained. The house was responsive, and the property appeared as it did in the photos. The location was peaceful and a convenient location for easy beach access. Using the public access is recommended, as the beaten down pathways over the dune isn’t great for children or people with limited mobility."
